Hi, in two weeks will be my first transformers convention in toronto. I want to know what the typical rates for the lesser known transformer guests, like nick roshe, alex milne, and michael bell will be? I will need multiple autographs for each of the guest, so do they have like a rate for each autograph they give, or like a $30 standard rate for 2-50 autographs for one guest?

 

Artists usually do not charge for autographs from what I have experienced. If one buys a print from them, the autograph is included in the price of the print. As for voice actors at TFcon, they are in the $20-40 range/item. Even though Michael Bell was at TFcon USA last year, I do not recall what his price was for an autograph.

 

Like the above member said, Comic Artist/writers the autographs are free. Voice actors are normally 20 USD for autographs and 20 USD for a selfie with them.

 

Then I shall be prepared to lay down $$$. Mostly for art commissions, special pencils and prints. Just last week I discovered the joy of collecting art illustrations and my Gawd, it's glorious to see those originals hanging a framed up in my mancave. And... depending on which voice talent shows up to TFCon DC, I may spend the $ to get the selfie too.

 

If you're wanting a commission, then I suggest you get on the list when the artist tweets out when they're taking commissions. Some fill up fast depending on whom you're looking at.

 

Yep, I'm gonna make sure I get on the list. I'm not gonna fly across the continent unprepared.

 

I hope enough people ask questions about Lilformers to inspite Matt to do more.

 

Has anyone from the US been able to find out the US address we can ship donations to? Or even the CA address.

I actually have, twice in two weeks. Haven't heard back, so I assume he's busy or backlogged. I was hoping someone might have that info to share. Unless it's confidential and needs to come directly from him?

 

Not sure if I just can't find it, but is there a thread for TFW members who want to meet up and/or swap/sell toys during the event?

Would love to know who else will be there from the boards.
