Actually, that video doesn't have any of the graphic stuff, but more informational. I understand people not wanting to see videos of animal torture.

I watched the other videos to see the reality of it all. Also, to remind myself that I have a choice to avoid watching something unpleasant, unlike those tortured souls that don't have a choice at all.

Evil continues when good people do nothing.

The seasonal flu numbers are far larger. Coronavirus or covid-19 is just new. Well, it actually isn’t new. Apparently SARS was the same thing same source, just a variation. They need to run flu numbers next to coronavirus numbers when reporting. The media is fanning this flame. They either need to shut up or report responsibly. The district where I teach is shut down for another week after spring break, and there are no cases anywhere near us. It’s ridiculous.

It’s a new strain that is spreading much quicker than either of the strains it’s related to. As to infected, it’s already estimated that there will be around 400,000+ deaths in the next 6-9 months. So while it’s not end of the world stuff like some think, it’s not just another flu like many pass it off as. The shutdowns from what I can tell are just a way to attempt to slow it down. Even if there’s no cases near you, eventually there will be, which I’m guessing was part of the shutdown plan.

I do wonder if those estimates are grounded though. Consider that the strain broke out in China 3 months ago. It was identified in December of 2019. In 3 months the total death toll is 6069 worldwide according to the CDC. In 6 months double it to 12,120 and in 9 months 18,000. So 400,000 in 9 months seems like a crazy exaggeration of the current possible number. Also as it mutates it is getting weaker. The newer strains are killing less and less according to the experts.

You obvious do not have anywhere near a firm grasp on even the most basic understanding of epidemiology, so please do not spread false information. You doubling numbers of cases based on the doubling of months is as elementary as elementary can get. All you have to do is look at any chart you can easily find online. America’s case number went from 987 on Thursday to over 4500 today (5 days). Are you following me? If we take no action will see in the US -conservatively- 500k deaths in six months, now compare that to the flu, makes the flu look pretty week doesn’t it? This is why we are taking evasive actions today. I can go on and destroy your logic more with stats from Italy and Iran but I’ll stop here, hopefully you get the picture.

Been trying to cancel my flight to Orlando ever since TFCON announced their cancellation of the show, I had booked through Travelocity and I've been calling them everyday but kept getting busy signal or placed on long holds and then dropped. Finally reached a live person this morning and got it taken care of! No total refund since the flight itself didn't get cancelled, but got the credit for a future flight within this year and no cancellation fees. Maybe will use the credit for TFCON Toronto in July!

Same on the credit and now I’m deciding if I’m gonna fly or drive to TO

Assuming there IS a TFCon Toronto. They cancel that, you might as well just cancel the rest of the year for me. My bummed out levels will be at the max

Thanks for the suggestion! I was going to try calling United directly if i couldn't get through to Travelocity but luckily I was able to do so today. As a last resort I would have called my credit card company. Planning to use the travel credit for TFCON Toronto! Hope you guys are doing ok, I was really looking forward to the Orlando show, had a great guestlist!

Aw, that's really cool of them to offer those exclusives online for people that still wanted them-

Wait, is that an SG Ravage?

On second thought I'll just take my helping of COVID-19 instead. If it's Glit that's okay though.

Milking that Ravage mold out so much, Ravage himself turned white.... Was hoping for more exclusives from other companies but glad to hear these will go up for sale and not be delayed or repurposed for another show.

I’m not sure there’s a big difference between Glit and SG Ravage’s decos, so it’s whatever you want to be.

Now, I passed on Howlback and Garboil, but I might be in for this, if it’s at about what Ravage cost at $70 or so.

Not trying to spread false information, I was just voicing my thoughts. And you are correct, I don't know shit about epidemiology. Thank you for explaining it to me. As for my comparison to the flu I apologize yet again. I lost friends and family to the H1N1 and in my simple ways I just keep comparing total number of deaths. I did not know that was the most elementary way of doing things. People keep throwing the infected number but im not interested in number of infected giving the huge number of recovered this far. Im was looking at it's effective killing capacity and thus far it's still lower than influenza! Again im not an expert. I don't even work in any medical field. Thank you for setting me straight. I will stop acting like 7000 dead people world wide is a lower threat than 37,000 dead in one year in the U.S. alone especially after you've kindly made a point of how rapidly it's expanding. I do see how doubling my numbers was a stupid assumption.

Just to be clear: Your comparison of H1N1's mortality rate to Covid-19 or really any other coronavirus is woefully inadequate. H1N1 - a strain of influenza - had a mortality rate of 0.02%. As of now - the average mortality rate of Covid-19 is between 3.9% and 5.9% but it drastically increases depending on your age bracket. This is readily available information. If the virus spreads unchecked at that mortality rate you are looking at close to 1 million dead in the US alone. That is not hyperbole or doomsaying. That is fact coming from the experts trying to lower the exposure rates. Your best bet to prevent the spread is to listen to your doctors, city officials, and leadership trying to keep you and others from being exposed. If you would like more information please google it. Thanks.

Nice of them to still offer them (and recoup some of their expenses). Now is a bad time for me, but I'm curious if this means other sellers won't be carrying the "post-con" stock.

Got on the horn with Ages Three and Up today...the prices will probably be announced Thursday night, once ancillary costs (shipping, taxes, et al.) are set in stone. Expect them to be around the same price as the regular versions of each mold, give or take $10.
