Whew! Site crashed right after PayPal took my money but went back and confirmed I got her.

Hopefully they fixed Minerva's issues in the retool, but even if they didn't, she's still the second most interesting exclusive this year.

 

Yeah I was refreshing the site at 6:59AM local time and it took a while her for her to load in, and then even longer to check out... Here's hoping we both get a low number one.

 

Yeah, took me while to get it and at some point it froze up for minutes, but eventually I checked my stash and she was there. Same thing happened with Thomas lol

 

So are they all gone? is that why the site is blank?

 

Grabbed a copy of Wheelblade! Seriously at $79 and brought down to $77 shipped with some points. Great deal!

It's Batman, that's just not fair.

 

I love how this thing clearly still has most, if not all, of the issues the first version had. You can literally see in the photos that the panels on the back of the legs aren't tabbed in properly - they're just flopping around. You can only see it in a few photos though - they clearly realised it was a problem and tried to hide it, but they missed it a few times.

Guess FansHobby know what they're doing though, because a bunch of suckers already bought this, and for $80. Ouch.

Just give it time. A third party will market a replacement (or a set of varying sizes) chest piece for Wheel Blade. It is becoming a thing.

 

I'm not sure why there's so much hate for the re-imagined alt mode. It's not meant to be a definitive representation of Windblade, it's just a fun repaint. I'm not buying it mainly because:

(1) The aesthetic is a bit too "TFA" to fit in with my MPs.
(2) I have zero attachment to the fan-created character herself.
(3) Like Athena, she's heavy on the backpack/shoulder kibble, a condition that's only remedied by removing the canopy, which I don't think is an acceptable solution.
(4) It's just a bit too much of a shell-former to catch my interest.
