Wheelblade, Okay that's really funny.
Well, that’s a surprise. I would have liked rounder pauldrons, but it’s a neat idea. Too bad I’m stretched thin at the moment, but she’d definitely get a second look if things change.
Although, if I’m getting a 3P Windblade it’ll most likely be the Big Firebird one, if it gets made at all. This’ll be second on the list.
This rules. I feel like there needs to be more leeway for convention exclusives to do a cute and dumb retool that isn't supposed to make a huge amount of sense.
Simply put, this character does not look good as a carbot. I do like the use of the headmaster gimmick, though.
Nautica might probably work. However you know what would be cool? If they took a clue from the recent Transformers v Terminator and did an earth mode Arcee or Velocity. I mean... look at Arcee's character design, it's like the Artemis mold was made for it:
Oh yeah that's even better! They can retool the mode to better fit the design too.
I want to want her, but I’ve heard too many negatives from reviews of Minerva to go in on Wheelblade.
Yes, gib me a well detailed Velocity and Stardrive.
Might be down to Iron Factory to get to that, though.
you HAD to remind me it exists and that i still want it....
That's FansHobby not FansToys.
Back to the toy: Where did the top of the car go in robot mode? In a drawer somewhere?
Alternators Windblade anyone?
Not crazy about this, mostly the face that is throwing me off. A classic G1 styled Windblade is an Interesting concept I\'ll give them that.
I would like to home this.
Sam_Makes_Toys on Twitter is actually working on a 3-D printed version of Terminator Arcee. He finished a v1 version, and is currently re-engineering for a v2. Not sure if he has any commercial/distribution plans, though.
Sounds a lot like that one flying red jet character, what a coincidence
Doesn't look ANYTHING like a Fans Toys release They are truly in a league of their own. Far succeeding even TT Masterpiece in quality materials (generally speaking).
We're these reviews from passed around figures before it's release? Because just out the box could be tons different while the "reviews" you watched COULD be all the same figure passed around. That's usually how that works when one guy is done he ships it to the next.
I completely agree. Like the IDW comics or even the old CW/TR CGI webisodes are kinda like that!
What was the original, $60? Wasn't it pretty crappy?
It was $60. Not sure, I heard QC was shotty, but the BSF review was hilarious.
That's exactly why I'm cautious with this release, lol
It's definitely not bad. But then again, it's yet another addition to the oversaturated 3P Masterpiece market.
