Nice work Boris! @bo2country, Loved last years stealth version! Unable to make it up to the con this year, but maybe to the Washington DC one in the fall, perhaps a reboot at that one?

Yeah, fool me once. I won't go to any of these botcons looking for an exclusive. Sphinx was sold out almost immediately for a four hour drive. If it's not sold after like Sphinx was I guess I just won't own it, which I would like to.

 

Ocular Max

 

I like the loom of this one much better than the original! Not going to the con so hopefully it will be available for a halfway acceptable price after...

 

Yea. I was pretty disappointed. I arrived 30 mins before official opening, paid the extra $20 or whatever to go in early and then found they were sold out already.

Maybe it's my bad but when they said the sphinx would be a TFCon exclusive, I thought that meant they were bringing all of the figures to TFCon to sell. But that wasn't the case at all. They brought some to sell there but definitely not enough to let everyone who attended the con get one.

Then they sold the figures elsewhere after the con for a mark up.

I don't mind paying mark up if I didn't attend a con, but I was pretty disappointed to have attended the con (my first one), and then have that happen.

Probably some naivety on my part.. But definitely left a bad taste in my mouth...

 

I need this. Will have to find it after the con for a hopefully decent price though.

They should've had a layaway/deposit system at the con for those who attended but got there after they sold out.

 

Ocular Max

 

looks good, except the windshield, which shows all the junk inside... Wish the windshield was tinted black or blue.

 

This is very tempting. Im sure Ill ultimately pass, but it really looks great.

 

Easy skip. I didn't like the base mold, unlike Sphinx. And Occular Max is now on my suspect 3P list. Didn't like the quality on my OM Artfire either. Something just seems off with the line in general.

 

Damnit! I want this guy! He's gonna be expensive to grab him online  

 

The portion above the truck bed looks better dark grey, like in the illustration. Will this part be yellow in the final? Also, toy head only??
