Hmmmm. On the fence I am.

 

I like, its not fort but I like it, lose the stickers and put it out normally and I'd be all over it.

 

Im really looking forward to this exclusive and from all the hints, i think more cool stuff is coming. Also, is the comic included for the non-attendee package?

 

taking the diggers off the shoulders does it quite a bit of good on its own. I may have to try that on my spare one.

 

I think this looks cool, and can't wait! I'll probably paint over the green, too. That definitely seems to help.

 

Well like it doesnt really look too much like Fort max even with the stickers :/

The shoulder ones are neat but i think the leg C-114 one look lame. I do think its cool that they went for an IDW coloured head since IDW fortmax wasnt huge and this dude isnt huge! But mostly I think its silly.

 

the decals are a FREE add-on that was independently developed outside of headrobots. TFcon worked really hard to provide an extra bonus that would make the set come with more things. Nobody is forced to use it if they don't want.

 

so far that's what i've done. removed the cowcatchers and the tampo'd decepticon logo.

that came off real easy with 99% isopropyl alcohol.

going to try painting the olives grey next.

But it's a beautiful thing. Just be sure to read the comic at the show, Protoman will not steer you wrong.

 

I have to agree with this. Got mine sitting here with me at work, absolutely loving it. I think the colors make him look a bit more Brave than Fortress, but it's still really cool. I'm going to have to hunt down the other 4 G1 headmasters if I can at TFcon, because I bet he'll look great with them!

 

I have both Headrobots releases and have the Gyro head headed this way too.

And that just removed the Decepticon logo? I'm not a painting/removal/customizing expert, but I'd like to try to remove the logo and the monzo12782. I'm concerned about removing the silver (shoulder/logo) and the green (where the monzo is).

Used Model Masters Acryl Medium Grey and Insignia Red. Considering adding some blue to a couple places as well. But whether you think he looks like Fortress Maximus or not, it's a great looking figure, and it took a figure that was sitting in my attic to one that's proudly displayed on my shelf again, which is always a good thing!!

Not very Fortress Maximus-y but I still like it. I think I will add some paint to my Onslaught while I wait for my set to come in.

 

nope. that arm had a couple nicks in it any way and it was no worse for wear after.

couldn't get into the crease with the pad i was using but i plan on slapping an autobot symbol on there anyway.



is there any where that you can get autobot paint apps or tampo's rather than stickers?
