Yeeeeah, those stickers don't work with the mold's color scheme at all. The head looks good, but if anything you'd need to get a custom paint job done on the body to make it look better.
Is this supposed to be Fortress Maximus IDW style? I think I'd be satisfied with the small Fort Max KO, but Im sure 700 people will enjoy this
Already have one coming thru Big Filipino but after seeing it? Ugh - I'll probably just sell it or trade it down the road.
The sticker sheet is the extra, as opposed to the normal Hothead variants. I AM very glad that I ordered this, and I can't wait to lay hands on it, but I wish our friends at Reprolabels had gone for a sheet to make him look more like Fortress/Cerebros rather than FortMax, as he's just NOT convincing as a giant-city-bot stand-in. I understand the marketing logic (most people only care about the big-guy), and Onslaught's colors are vaguely more FortMax'y than Fortress'y, but I still feel like the design logic is a bit schizophrenic (Fortress/Cerebros themed mold-colors and name vs. FortMax themed labels). I'll have to give some thought to how I want to actually implement this guy on my shelf, I think the spare Osnlaught's going to get a lick of paint before his stickers and upgrade... D/L
Great picture and great review Peaugh. I like the gray paint. The green bits throws off the color for me.
They said it was something extra aside from the sticker sheets, but I guess not. If you track the original thread, you will see.
Did someone infer that you can get the head (in the same colours as TFcon) only without the stickers some place else. I like the head and the guns very much - but the Stickers have minimal use to me. Is this the third colour of this they have made now then ?
