MMC is pretty good about trying to get non-attendees a chance too. So, hopefully, yes.
I swear the designers of the G2 repaints were in some kind of in-office competition to see who could make the most ridiculous and eye-straining colour scheme and get marketing to approve it.
None whatsoever. Repaints are either planned ahead of time (when we know new releases won't be ready) or to fill gaps when a product has to be pushed back. They *never* delay an all new figure.
I absolutely love this... reminds me of a good ol’ BotCon exclusive
That's good. What does delay the new figures, seemingly across all the lines? Does MMC just consistently underestimate their own production time?
WATER. MELON. MIRAGE.
How come Tfcon in USA give exclusive ever yr but in Canada where tfcon started for over 13 yrs give very little but in USA get one each yr
If you looked into it you'd see that TFcon Toronto gets exclusives every year as well: TFcon Toronto 2019 Exclusives
So whats the gator supposed to represent ? Why was it on the original concept ?
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!
No one knows. Just the mock-up had a gator theme to it
Why? It was the 90s and G2
Looks great, I'm not a huge MP collector but that is tempting! I made a custom version of my own from the Classics mold (along with a Diaclone red version) but would love to see Hasbro make this G2 version from the Siege Mirage figure!
BUT THEY'RE TAKING A SPOT
I would pay so much for a phase shifting version of this
I wouldn't mind picking this up. I'm actually going to have a nice G2 MP collection.
I wish G2 had better fiction that took advantage of the color updates. The G2 comic was good reading, but it wasn't good at tying into the toyline.
I mean, it quite literally is taking a spot, just one that was apparently planned further in advance than it might seem. It's still pushing everything behind it back by one. If it didn't exist, everything behind it would move up by one. That's how a line works.
But you might be confusing two things - how a production line schedule works and the reason for the additional delays that have crept up in all of MMC's release estimates. The latter was the topic of the question, not the former.
please, explain to me how the OM/MMC production line works.
Ironic sarcastic remark, considering you play at knowing but seem unable to actually inform us at all about how MMC works.
What was asked was around the delays that are cropping up (once again) in all of MMC's products, pretty much across the board. Stated dates come and go without product arriving, which isn't the first time but people still wonder why the dates are so consistently missed. It's been coming up in the product threads here and on podcasts that aired this week, so it's not exactly an unusual question or deserving of ridicule. But since you seem to think so, perhaps you can enlighten us so we don't have to ask such foolish questions and face your mockery.
Seeing a pattern here carried forward from another thread earlier this week, where you claimed MMC has "official reps" here in response to someone who wondered why 3Ps other than FT and XTB don't seem to. Yet none of the affiliated and active members here that are associated with MMC seem willing to claim that mantle for themselves and communicate official answers on behalf of MMC.
You can keep tossing barbs and making sarcastic remarks to belittle others while being unable or unwilling to share any of the implied information you have. Or maybe take a page from RVDA and share a useful comment.
Factories have delays (since 3P is an extra for them, not their bread and butter), things have to be reworked, changes delay things... Take your pick. When a figure arrives "on time" but starts breaking due to unpolished engineering or has QC problems for being rushed out nobody says "it's a piece of shit but since it arrived on time I'm happy!!"
