Axis was first mentioned on the biograpny for Masterpiece Shafter.

Then we saw him on the TFcon Toronta program cover and at the TFcon Toronto 2014 Third Party Panel.

He is a Destron and a black and purple recolor of X-Transbots Stax. He also sorta reminds me of SG Huffer.

Convention exclusives are always repaints. Thats what they do.

TFcon got this mold for their shows, and they put the yellow on in Toronto and the black one in Chicago.

    Dammit!

I love black repaints. I love Pipes. I very much enjoy this mold. Plus, it would be perfect for a future episode of my comic.

I really, really want this... and it will be so, so expensive.

    :'(

I just read the program comic for TFcon 2014. I noticed that the program looks like it could double as a Program for TFcon Chicago, as it has information on the cover for both.

Axis does appear in the comic. He's a Destron hired by Toxin to break into the Zone Base... and he's Shafter's "spark brother".

    Oh, added a picture:

If there wasn't already speculation that X-Transbot is another iteration of KFC, the rampant repaints for the same mold should make it fact.

    Different designers.

Also, Axis appears to be an original character made up by TFcon. He's Shafter's evil brother.

My first time with this mold is Shafter. While he looks cool, the plastic feels.. cheap. Like the same plastic used on Sencho Barbossa.

Its fans toys and fans character. K T C, X-Transbot or other 3rd party company can add ANY new character and call him exclusive! S D C C and T F C C making official characters remods and repaints, which appear in their comic or in canon in all, but 3rd party use that method too and just add some new character in their comic or story and make toy. They move that toy on some fair and call exclusive. X-Transbot already done enough possible Huffer repaints or remolds, but theat not enough for they. They know what there is people, who like to buy "exclusive" toys and use it. I know what they want moneys, but its just my opinion. T F C C and S D C C making not cool exclusives sometime.

I see no difference between TFCC, SDCC, and TFcon exclusives. They all do exactly the same thing.
