The GoBots look good, almost forgot they are now part of the Transformers universe
I saw things! OHhh boy!
No tank mode pics for that megatron?
Why is Ordin on display? He\'s an older product. Is it a re-issue or 2.0 or something?
Holy shit that Megatron. I'm definitely buying that.
How cool all! Especially Wei Jiang and \"MTMTE Megatron\"!!!
That GCreation Optimus Prime came outta nowhere? Looks pretty cool.
wow that megatron looks really, really off without his back gun barrel thing
All these amazing figures makes me sad since I cant afford 1/10th of the ones I want. LOL
I'm digging that Black Zarak, too bad I'll never be able to afford him in this lifetime. Besides I already own the Scorponok verison :3
Can we just refer to the MMC casseticons as Cassette scale or cartoon scale? 1:1 scale feels misleading given the originals are 1:1 scale to microcassettes and they\'re certainly not 1:1 scale to their bot modes.
I really want to get into the Gobots, but the QC issues with Leader-1 (floppy head/neck, etc) put me off. If they can\'t get the leaders right, then there\'s no point in collecting the minions.
Wait , ! m what ? , have I missed some thing ?
Hasbro bought 'em all up.
Let me clarify...
Bandai created the robot designs decades ago (around the time Takara was making Microman/Diaclone, which became Transformers.) and Machine Robo was the name.
Hanna-Barbera created the show, gave them names and called it Gobots. Tonka imported the molds to be used in the US, much like Hasbro did with Takara's molds to create Transformers.
Bandai retains the robot designs, Tonka retains the names/characters and when Kenner was absorbed by Hasbro, they also absorbed Tonka.
H-B still owns the show, they even put it on DVD which you can order off of their website. (It's WB's archival site, IIRC.)
So, Hasbro owns GoBots. A 3rd party company, with a legit license, has been producing Masterpiece level updates of the Machine Robo designs and we just know them as Masterpiece GoBots.
ALL HAIL MMC！
No word on any TransformMission releases?
Oh yes , I knew all that ... hence leader one as Armada Megatrons Minicon ect ect .... I thought some one ment that the Gobots had literally some how been merged in to the current or future story telling ..... lol Now I just feel like a doofus , a vague doofus to boot ..... But what I don`t get is why Hasbro would miss out on the opportunity to cash in on essentially what is there`s , but instead let another company run wild with it ?
Looking forward to the DX9 Dinobots!
But try the other 3. MUCH BETTER QUALITY. I'd say the best of the bunch, surprisingly, is the blue/green tank bot, BATTLE ROBO. It's got great modes, fun transformation, and no QC issues.
Plus, the company is aware of the complaints with Eagle Robo (floppiness, etc.), so likely you'll see better products onward.
