Anyone know if there is a supermarket within the area? Unfamiliar with stores outside new england market-wise & will need to plan for some nutritional needs during the weekend.

Yeah, there's one called Streets Market a few blocks away on North Charles St. Nice place, not huge but it has things like salad and sushi and prepared hot foods in addition to the supermarket part

Whoops, forgot about the WF over there. That's also a great option for the area.

Are there really 2 of them right next to each other? Also - does the light rail happen to travel there?

Yes. You will have to switch trains from the blue line (Convention Center Station - start) to the red line (Inner Harbor East Station - finish).

Are you talking about the buses? There's no such thing as a blue or red line train here. TBH the easiest way to get over to Harbor East is the Orange Route of the Charm City Circulator, which is a free bus. There's a stop in front of the Convention Center, and it's better than trying to catch two different regular MTA buses.

The two supermarkets aren't right next to each other-one's on one side of the harbor and the other is on the other side. There are buses that would take you to the Streets market but tbh it's actually faster to walk there from the Convention Center and Hilton area.

The Light Raillink is one line that runs from Cromwell to Hunt Valley, though. There are CityLink Buses that have the colors red and blue but there are no trains. Sometimes there are shuttles between LR sections if there's track maintenance, but there's only one actual line.

Anyway. Still waiting for more news about con exclusives. We're a little over a week out, hopefully we'll see some more announcements in the next couple days.

Usually by now they have announced two or three of the exclusives. I wonder if the shipping issues from Asia are contributing to the lack of announcements. If they cannot get here to be sold it would explain the radio silence. Hopefully it is not the case.

Yeah, I really hope not. The one we've seen so far is nice but I'd be disappointed if it were all we got because of shipping issues. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The last one in Reston had a unannounced one - Sphynx. Well, mostly a surprise. I found out about it a couple days before the con. But we had 4 that time. Really hope we do not get short changed this time around.

I miss it not being in Reston. Was a totally awesome location & the community was also awesome overall. Would have been perfect for a static location consideration.

I live about 25 minutes from the venue. I’m so excited. I have a few figures I’m trying to unload. Anybody know if there will be a trading/buying event? Would love to clear the stuff out at the con.

At least in past years they put up a large bulletin board near the dealer room where you can list what you are selling and what you are looking for. Usually a cell phone number or room number are given.

Is this the first time the 3rd Party Panel is scheduled for Sunday instead of Saturday?

Does anyone know if we can transfer our tickets to someone else? Originally I just wanted to go on saturday, mostly for the 3rd party panel. With it being on Sunday, there being multiple things going on in the area (such as the Ravens having a home game), and Sunday also being my wife's birthday, it's probably best I find another home for my ticket. I have the full weekend pass (at the time Saturday only was sold out). PM me if you want to to buy it, assuming it can be transferred.

They are non-transferable. Our names are emblazoned right on them.

I got a room at the hotel as parking is going to be the thing nightmares are made of. With the Comic Con being one block over and the other Halloween events going on parking is going to be impossible; the public lots are not large enough to deal with the demand. The hotel just added a new thing to the reservation website in addition to the fact they are sold out of rooms. Even if you have a room you have to pay $25 a day for parking; it is a reduced rate from the normal $45 a day. That is some flaming BS right there. Parking is ALWAYS part of the room rate. Going to have a little talk with the hotel about how the room rate and "fees" are broken down. Hopefully Baltimore does not get another TFcon after this year. They are fumbling the ball in spectacular fashion so far.

We now have inconsistencies between the hotel website and the TFcon website. The hotel says the rate is $35 a night and the TFcon site says $25 a night.
