They should make a I will pick up an Exclusive for you + finders fee for the TFcon thread. I am actually hoping my friend heads up there for the con. If he doesn't it looks like scalpers are going to get the cheddar.

So, it appears I'll be going to TFCon this year, and that would make it my first time at a Transformers convention. I'm pretty sure the dealer room is what I'll most be looking forward to, but if anyone else wants to mention stuff I should look out for, that'd be nice.
The only thing that will stop me from going is if I have no one else to go with. So far I have two rather positive maybes.

Are they supposed to update their web site by now ?? The Event schedule was the 2008's .... Last year's was held on a Friday night and a full day Saturday.. this year's for Sat and Sun ? To me.. I really need to arrange a schedule but honestly the exclusive figure and the package is what I am looking most... although I 'd still be looking at alternative in future instead of going there myself..

Just got time off and made a hotel reservation for 4 days in Toronto. Bringing my girlfriend and she would get real pissed if we did 2 or 3 days off straight Tf. Can anyone give a few suggestions of things to do in the city? Places to shop, eat, see. someone suggested the silver snail comic shop.

any if i didn't pre register any chance powered convoy can still be purchased early saturday morning?

A few suggestions? You're in Toronto for 4 days, you gotta be more specific!

In the area of the hotel
-Woodbine Racetrack. Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, and Slot Machines.
-Woodbine Mall. Actually not a very good mall. Ghetto by local standards but worth a look for the EB Games, a toy store, decent shopping (Le Chateau, Zellers, Dynamite, etc), cheap movies at the in-mall theatre, and a mini theme park with carousel and train.
    -Gokarts
-LOTS of great dining right across the street

    West end (Etobicoke) and Mississauga
-Square One Mall. Biggest mall in Ontario
    -Playdium
    -Queensway and Colesium movie theatres
-Lakeshore/Brown's Line area. The beach! If the weather is kind, I do suggest a stroll through Colonel Samuel Smith Park.
-indoor gokart track at North Queen and East Mall
-Sherway Gardens Mall and lots of big stores. Walmart, Toys R Us, Best Buy, EB Games, La Senza, Home Depot, McDonalds, Chapters Bookstore. Food in same area: Jack Astors, East Side Mario's, William's Coffee Pub (AMAZING pie), Canyon Creek.

    North end (Vaughan)
    -Dave & Busters
    -IKEA
-Canada's Wonderland (not open til May, so ignore that)
-Colussus movie theatre and an AMC
    -Yuk Yuk's comedy club
-Vaughan City Mall (complete with Bass Pro Shop and Nascar Speed Park)
    -Yorkdale Mall

East (Scarborough. Not as scary as you hear)
    -Ontario Science Centre
    -Toronto Zoo
-that's it. I'm not terribly familiar with the east end of the city

    Downtown
-Casa Loma (the only castle in the city. Tres Romantique!)
    -Royal Ontario Museum
    -CN Tower
-SkyDome (yeah, yeah, Rogers Centre. Whatever) Maybe the Jays will win again.
    -Steamwhistle brewery
-Eaton's Centre (for LOTS of shopping)
-AMC 24. ALL digital projectors. Amazing theatre
-Yonge/Dundas Square. Look at it, take a picture, move on.
    -Theatre and lots of it
-King St for all your Bistro dining needs
    -Scotiabank Theatre
-Live comedy at Second City, Yuk Yuk's, The Rivoli, and anywhere else
-Queen St for lots of awesome not-so-mainstream shopping (including the Silver Snail)
-Crispy Roll. My personal choice for best sushi in town. It's on the south side of Queen St, just west of Osgoode Station
    -National Ballet of Canada
    -Queen's Park
    -Toronto Islands

    Anything else?

Yeah, but you'll have to wait in line for it and there's no guarantee they won't sell out before you get one.

Thanks alot Talon.. I really wanted to go to the skydome and see a game (been there before on a rainy day with the dome closed for an Indians game, great crowd no jeering or booing at all!) but i don't think that will go over well with my Gf.

anyways great ideas and i really appreciate the time it took.

    Answer to my own question:

'The fact that it starts tomorrow!'

    Whoo-hoo!
