Only times my cards have been compromised were in person. Area I lived in in NY had an organized crime network, I won't go into details as I have no proof but let's just say that if I used a specific machine to recharge my subway card a couple of months later I'd need a new card as my account had been hacked... Systematic. I warned my wife of my suspicions, she was wondering why my card info kept getting stolen and not hers, she worked 10 minutes away by foot so only rarely took the subway. One day she used that machine to recharge by accident. 2 months later, new card required... Emv was supposed to help crack down on this but was implemented in the worst way possible, not requiring your PIN for every transaction. Oh, and copying the chip being neigh impossible? Irrelevant; after 3. Unsuccessful chip reads many terminals will fail over to swipe. And we can't deactivate the swipe yet as not everyone has a chip card! Anyways, my little rant about EMV and how much I hate the implementation here in the USA over, is anyone still buying stuff in the sale? I have my cart ready (I am like a hawk on my credit card usage, check at least once a day and investigate every charge I don't understand) but I don't think I'll be racing against time like I was for the pretender shells this time!
Can we please steer the topic back to the sale? The credit card discussion is a slippery slope and can end a thread. Anyway. I hope they give us a head’s up as to when the 90% will hit...
In my best Teal'c They will, in fact, give us a heads down. By which I mean they usually send out the email about an hour after the prices drop.
Kinda funny what has happened. I told them I want to cancel the order or I might have to take legal action and they said that they’re sending it now
Sigh. So I just got a refund on a signed June from Transformers Prime poster as they sent my signed one to someone who paid for an unsigned one. They've been trying to get this person to send it back but, of course, he is not responding. A little disappointed but ah well, not the end of the world.
June, Jack's mother. I bought Raph, Jack and June together. Miko was long gone. It was only $6 so not a huge loss and honestly, shipping it Solo would kill the sale most likely.
Call this number, 817-448-9863, sorry I'm not sure how to call international, confirm that you did place an order with the real TFCC. Then call your back and see if you can get the charge reversed.
Thanks for checking but, yeah, it would have cost us a ton to ship a $6 poster and it was only June. Cool character but not one of the main three humans!
Hmm- so it was them after all? I would still report them. Very, very shady. Please post the email address they were writing from so we can confirm if it was the club or not
It's not the weight, it's the dimensions, you'd need to ship it either in a big box or in a poster cylinder. In any case we'd be looking at more than the cost of the poster. Bit too big to go in an envelope without folding it.
I have a yellow Alternators Tracks Prototype. It's super cool. THIS. Let's avoid the CC talk. Take it to PM's if you've got questions. I also hope they give us a few days warning before dropping prices...
I have a yellow Binaltech Tracks. It, also, is super cool. (Though not a prototype.) So I take it we're still not at 90%?
Oh wow, awesome on the Tracks Prototype! I doubt we'll get any warning though, TFCC known to let the prices... drop. Or not, lol.
We can't really know how much stock they have anymore until an item drops below 40. Too bad because I'd like to check this theory out. I believe everything, including Waruders, are trickling out at the same pace the Botcon sets did. They just had such high numbers, it's taking longer to sell through. That's why they haven't dropped yet because the longer they wait, the more money they make. I personally believe they won't drop until either the last week of the year ( after Christmas ), or when all the toys sell out. Whichever comes first.
