Oh my gosh! He didn't use blue text! He must be THE SERIOUS!!!

Yeah, I actually bought a head from bradforj a few years back. I'm not concerned. I might even be in for new heads on these if I'm able to pick up a set at 90%.

I plan to buy two sets when the prices drop. I'd be down for some new heads for one of the sets to make them someone else.

I am kind of relieved that the CMW set sold out before the drop to 90% off. There was nothing in that set I really needed or wanted but if I saw it at 90% off I don't think I would have been able to resist. This way it saves be $50 when you include shipping. I kind of hope the same thing happens with the Warauders.

Shut your whore mouth! :D  :p

Seriously, they'll be like $20 shipped. That's not as bad as the box set. Let us have our cheap toys!

I will also probably buy two, and sell the ones I don't want at a show. Bagged Botcon figures will get me at least $15 each still...

I kinda of want one or two of those as well... but I don't know... I also have a lot of preorders for Takara Titans Return figures that I need to pay for... so I may just do that instead.

The longer this final price cut is dragged out, the lower the amount in my cart gets. Give it another week and I'll be over it.

Yeah, a lot of the lower end 3Dprinters tend to ridge a lot. There are higher end stuff that don't. And even more higher end where it looks like it was injected molded. I know Hasbro uses Formlabs' printer setup and seeing it in person was pretty cool as it looked like one solid piece of plastic with no ridging or lines at all. It must only be the $10,000 industry grade one that does it because every printed sample on their website seems to still have the line problem (albeit much less than noticeable than what you would get from Shapeways). Hopefully the consumer models reach the industry grade standards quickly. Or maybe its just a setting adjustment like how many layers it goes through or the spacing in between each layer.

Back onto the thread topic, it sounds like everyone is kind of giving up on waiting since other things are releasing at about this time. I guess I was wrong earlier when I said interest wasn't waning.

Quick question, what stuff did everyone miss out on? I jumped in on the sale at about 70% off so I'm not even sure what was fully being offered.

I’ve gotten everything I was dead set on getting, still a few things I’m interested in though. I missed out on the following though by choice because I didn’t want the figures they came with
    Ape-linq
Machine wars set (for obsidian and strika)
    Cmw (only wanted packrat)

And I completely missed out on
    Diaclone explorers
    Transmutate
    Terrorsaur
But those three didn’t get down to prices I could pay while they were still in stock

I placed an order at the 80% drop. I was waiting for a few more things to drop to 90% before placing another order - the extra discount would have more than made up for the second shipping charge. I get that 80% is still an awesome discount, and had I known they wouldn't go immediately to 90%, I would have bought them already. But I'm definitely not keen on paying another shipping charge for figures I could have ordered earlier at the same price. So I'm definitely passing on a lot.

Yeah I get that. I bought Flareup on her own because I didn't want the other figures she came with. I wanted CW Bluestreak (or Silverstreak or whatever his name was) but he sold out really early on. I'm trying to get all of the exclusive CW stuff and am missing quite a lot. I know Impactor is hard enough just to find someone who is willing to sell him. I just don't know if any of the others like the Predacus combiner were even offered since I showed up late.

Packrat seems to be going cheep on eBay . I'd have thought he'd qo Squeak but that's just me.

Yes. I know, that's bad by even my low standards :)

he is rather reasonably priced though.

Never thought I’d get the custom class animated Minerva. I’m a pretty happy geek.

Happy for you! I'm happy to have the Overkill custom kit. I know many don't like it and it's probably not worth what I paid but as one of the first kits (I'm not sure when they started with the kits) and it's something I've never seen before on eBay or anywhere else.
