I really wish these Terrorcons were bigger! Sinnertwin looks to be of the same size as Skalor.
Oh S! Can someone direct me to a thread for that BWII Skalor and confirm its a whole set being redone?
Hopefully see more news on this fella soon
eh, i dont need bigger. my house needs space. i always wanted Abominus because the idea of colourful mythical creatures that combine is just so appealing. i think i am down for this set, but the question is, when is TFC going to release the first member?
I like it! Amazing what color can do.
Looks great so far.
What is Big Bite supposed to be?
Isnt it the God Neptune Skin?
Nope. They look like Bay figures.
Gosh darn. Time to sell figures and clear space!
That looks amazing! A slightly similar style to their seacons but more of an organic taste. It's interesting. The articulation looks fine. Honestly I actually prefer combiners like satan that have stylized looks. Excited to see how this turns out!
I wonder if this set will have Scramble City compatibility like their Seacon set does.
I'm gonna guess yes.
Since they have shown a willingness of selling five packs, I kinda hope that they skip the single figures and just sell us a five pack from the get.
Im guessing late 2020 for the King of Hell to be completed huh
It better, or at least do the correct G1 limb configuration if there's only one option. If their Blot MUST be a leg, it's a deal-killer. Blot's an arm, dang it.
Thank you TFC. Hoping this is 18"
I honestly hope to see three more combiners after this at least. Why? I have a funny idea right now. I don't usually like grabbing too many third party toys. When deathclaw ships in, he'll be my second one. So I think I'm just going to buy one peice of a combiner till I eventually have a weird mishmash combiner. Stupid and incoherent? probably. But I get to pick the favorite of each combiner. I think I'll take satans leg or chest
Edit: I just realized something. We're shown a shell of the foot, but no actual main partner the foot. Where does it go? Or are we going to have to buy the whole combiner to get the feet?
I notice that all the clear bits on Astaroth, are fairly small. I think that's a much better approach than the large parts that Poseidon had. I'm always wary of large clear parts, as they tend to then have hinges/pins, and are prone to cracking because of it. Moving clear parts=bad. I think a lot of BigBite dorsal fins have some cracking (or at least stress-marks) at their base, as does Deathlcaw's tailfin. 2 of my Deathclaw lobster-legs have some cracks at the knees (ankles?) where the clear-smoke parts meet the opaque parts, again, at the hinge. Clear pieces don't like rubbing/moving against other parts.
But by having it just be little claws/horns, it should be ok, and look better IMHO.
::edit:: Hmmn, I just noticed the tail(s) are the same color as the beast legs---they should be lavender, it's one of Sinnertwin's accent colors. They form the knee-spikes in robot mode in this mold, so they wouldn't look "odd" at all, if they were "properly" lavender. If anything, they'd help break things up---he's actually kind bland, with so few things to break up the giant swaths of yellow and blue. A little lavender here and there would help. And of course, it's a very Decepticon-y color...
