Just unpacked him this past weekend and so far, I'm really loving it! Here's a quick summary of my thoughts on Prometheus:

Alt modes on this set really shines, they captured the vehicles very well, and the vehicles are quite fun to play with.

Transformation between modes was intuitive and fun, but I do have some complaints about the amount of panel-forming. It's not nearly as complex as FP Diesel, and is a lot more intuitive, but I can't help feeling there's more they could've done to better integrate the panels on the bots.

Bot modes are very consistent throughout the set, and they all have the typical blocky TFC aesthetics. However, I personally would actually prefer them to have slightly different looks that more accurately reflects their characters.

Last but not least, combined mode! He's very imposing in this mode, and with the exception of Groove, very G1 accurate. I do wish Streetwise's leg mode could be a bit more involved, but at least they added the missiles to bulk up his calves a bit more. He is far sturdier than any TFC combiners before. The back-and-forth ratchets are a little weak, but once you get it posed, it has no trouble holding the pose. The combined mode head also does look a lot better in person than in photos.

I do like Guardia, too, and will definitely be getting him down the road.

I much prefer the TFC version myself. .. painting the chin strap black and painting the eyes a really light blue made all the difference for me.

Can Warning Line bank like the real bike?(both wheels tilt, sliding against eachother a little.)

also, if anyone would be willing to sell me just warning line, withor without the defensor parts, I would be interested, (though it may take a little time/negotiation as I'm a bit tight right now)

    Unfortunately, I don't think that's a realistic expectation.

It's too realistic to be realistic...:D

Yeah he's entirely solid in alt mode due to transformation.

I noticed Chimungmung still has his xmas sale for this set. $239.90 + Postage.

Down side is no box... I am so tempted to get it. Do you guys care about boxes?

I have every single 3P box stored away in boxes (boxes in boxes :D ) but to date have not sold anything so I don't even know why I am keeping them.

Just something about getting a bunch of figures with no box doesn't feel right to me.

I kept boxes until I didn't have any more room in my walk in for them, I did a great purge, and it felt so good to clear up all that space I haven't been keeping them since. I've held on to some packaging because it's really nice, like the UW boxes or the early MMC boxes but that's it.

Man, I still feel these TFC combiners are some of the most underrated sets: Uranos is absolutely beautiful despite having short thighs, and Prometheus is just a solid and intimidating mamajama!

Did anyone try connecting the normal tfc limbs to the oversized Hotspot? I know it was possible with the Aerialbots in a similar config.

Uranos (and upgrades) are indeed beautiful.

He's a beautifully voyager scaled combiner, and to this day, still my favorite. Even out of all my MP stuff.

It's quite a bit smaller, but I don't have a pic, though. He's par for the course compared to other TFC combiners, i.e. 13~14 inches tall.
