A while back there was discussion of a large shield for this set. While I liked the idea, it never happened so instead of waiting forever for one to emerge I made one. I present Lego shield. It triples as an ugly building and if laid down can become a make shift helipad.

It does look like that too, here's a shot of the inside. It's not just standing in front of him. It's got an articulated handle arm in back so he can hold it up "with help".

For a combiner (that's in great shape of course) that's a great price! Just make sure it has all of the pieces (especially those that aid in combining the figure- if applicable), doesn't have any overt issues combining, standing, etc., and otherwise appears to be a well treated item.

Thanks for the replies guys. A store here in HK is selling the set brand new for 250. Any issues that I need to look out for?

Breaux Man, by repros do you mean Reprolabels?

    Thanks man.

Not so obvious because he could've easily meant "reproduction parts," like what Dr. Killinger, Megatron31, and Nonnef sells for some other figures.

Here it is. That's 1800 HKD, so actually it's closer to 230 USD.

It is. We are really spoiled here when it comes to toys. Problem is most of us don't have enough space to display everything we buy.

Thanks for all the input. I'll see if the store still has stock tomorrow.

OMG that's outstanding...I'd be all over that. I've been waiting in hopes of a Black Friday sale, but I don't think they will ever be that cheap!

That is one hell of a price and you will not be dissapointed. its a really great set and one of TFC's best combiners that truely slipped under the radar. My only gripe is the combiner ankle joint design. It has a bit of slack between teeth on the ratchet which allows him to lean forward or backward if you do a straight up pose. Posing him in a dynamic stance doesnt seem to share this issue for some reason.

    hope you get him!

This was a custom Shield by Dr. Killinger from a while ago. Custom head idea was from Atto!

And, here's the custom (non fat) face/head! Excuse the "dandruff" haha, it's been sitting for a while and dust started collecting.

I have no problem handing prometheous to my 8 year old to play with me not in the room. I've heard him "crash" it into a pile with explosion noises and stuff. prom took it and loved it with that shit eating grin of his.

I think that's the greatest compliment I can pay the toy. I did some slip stuff to my ankles to make them a little better. it's a shame though he didn't sell enough to warrant a real full run upgrade kit for the Eyes and feet. I'd love a more boot setup. Maybe give him a little lift

I love the picture of prometheous peaking out around the shield window.
