shit. I dont know how Takaratomy are going to compete with this beast of a third-party Liokaiser combiner. :lol

While I appreciate the scale and overall designs of all 6 members, IMO they seem too 'cluttered' and overly detailed in both modes, esp in their individual bot modes. I much prefer cleaner, less detailed look like the G1 Liokaiser toy, but with modern toy engineering and simple, subtle details.

Great for those who have gotten him or are planning to.

Me? I'll just wait patiently and see what Takaratomy has up their sleeves for their UW Liokaiser release. :D

Can someone please let me know how much knee bend this set has combined? I'd like to know how much articulation the legs have in general.

Anyone else hear the "I see your Schwartz is as big as mine" coming from the second photo?

It has the best feet articulation to date, built in makes it an even more impressive achievement. The knees I recall a 90 degree bend. The only limiting area were the hips as the wheels can obstruct for the full iron man pose.

I would take a photo, but I'm not going to bother combining mine again until I get the combiner peg fixed.

With Leozack I placed a couple of logos on the teal intakes beside the cockpit, they work for every mode then as by putting them on the wings they either look good in combined mode and robot mode or they look good in jet mode as they rotate.

Beautiful set, and I'd love to have it as I have no japanese continuity line toys save for a few Masterforce pieces, but I just can't afford a $600+ set after I just dropped at least that much on Botcon and $400+ on the TFSS 5.0 toys. :cry

How did you guys get the plugs into Leo Zacks screw holes? I am thinking of using sandpaper on the sides, they just won't go in. Any other tactics you used?

He needed them? I looked mine over, puzzled, and didn't really notice anything/glaring where I should plug anything up. So I just put the plus back in the Baggie.

They are a very snug fit and must be put in at just the right angle or they wont fit. However, if they end up loose, they wont stay put. The hardest one to install is the rearmost one near the jet intake and it's not completely obvious which side should go where.

I took the missile pods off of a KO Skyhammer and use them under the wings of Leozacks alt mode.

Technically, being an F-14, there shouldn't be any weapons mounted on his wings.

There are three glaring holes on the left side of the cockpit. Of course you don't need them, but they do clean it up well.

This is why I am hesitant to try sand paper, but I did my best to get them in and it wasn't happening. I'll try again tonight. Thanks for the response. So you got all three in?

I mean, I do to an extent. If I can even notice them or if they're super noticeable. I didn't notice anything on this guy. But it's cool I have them just in case :)

Doesn't really bother me though my MP Ratchet looks like he got a gothic neckless thing going on with the screws exposed.

Meh he looks fine to me.

I always seem to forget about them as they're a part of pretty much every transformer.

I normally don't either, but when they make the figure look assymetrical, like they did with the cockpit/nosecone in jet mode...

As for filing, I just ran one, length-wise, across a steel file one pass at a time, while doing test fit. Only one piece needed 3 passes, but the rest were fine with one pass
