Okay, that makes sense. I was going to say that it really doesn't look anything like Defensor.
Looks a bit shitty so far.
hope he gets a couple more team members so he can have some legs.
So the Chinese knock of cartoons now too?
This statement made me LOL..
What exactly makes something a transformer?
I mean one could argue the beast wars stuff didn't look like transformers.. One could argue that RID stuff didn't look like a transformer..
I mean it's got one mode, then another.. and it transforms.. so isn't that a transformer??
I agree with you that he's not all that intereting and doesn't look like defensor (if that's who he's designed to be), but to say he doesn't look like a transformer..
Well that's an odd statement.
is the full gestalt
And he shall be an autobot combiner named something(when does this come out)
Those dinos don't look bad. And they have all five of my favorite flavors. Who is doing these? And when are they coming out? How do I get them?
gotta wonder how kids cartoon cats can get a defensor and we're still begging hasbro......oh and they get dinobots. maybe we should ask that company to give us a defensor and dinobots.....or say screw it and buy those as stand in's. I wonder how long till Hasbro figures it out.
I'm actually still interested in this. Looks pretty awesome.
Oooh, I like that it's a "traditional" combiner but isn't a straight up copy of past designs.
These are pretty cool in that it's not that common to see non Transformers combiners with limbs that are complete figures on their own.
Even if they aren't supposed to be specific Transformers, the plus side is that if they turn out great they could possibly be cheaper.
The dinosaurs' coloring remind me of Bandai's Dinozaurs, except those that I remember tended to look like fossils. Forgot all about Dinozaurs.
Interesting. And at the very end of that thread... is that a Dinosaur combiner? The right shoulder looks like the Triceratops head.
The designs aren't bad at all. They're definitely not Transformers, just share the general idea of Robot/Alt and Combiner. Still kinda cool.
The concept art stuff looks amazing, really digging the Dino designs for that show/line, if I can figure out who to order them from, then I'll buy the Dinos just to put them in with my Dinobot display.
Although I do like 3rd Transformer party releases, usually they pay some homage to a
G1 transformer in some way. This one is mostly original, but not very cool. I'm sorry, but this is a pass for me.
If this thing doesn't come with removable kitty pilots then it's just a piece of shit.
That's the same series as the TFC EX-003 kitty combiner, right? How come I can't find that thing for sale ANYWHERE??
TFC Starcats series new prototypes !!
Just found here

cool. what are they?
It should be an animated chinese series that TFC covers with some toys... but it's clear that tfc is putting in the design some tf things.... those are clearly Swoop and Grimlock and will be part of a dino-gestalt too....
