Not a fan of the overall body design but these 2 have the best head/facesculpt of all the MP Ironhide/Ratchet offerings including official (though we haven't seen official Ratchet).

I like this mold as Ironhide as it really captures the character well, but for Ratchet I find it too powerful looking.

Still, I might like it better than the likely TT version.

    I'll echo this.
TFC Ironhide is a sure buy. Ratchet...yeah too tough looking for a medic.

Maybe voodoo or Takara for Ratchet if they are shorter than TFC Ironhide. If not then will make do with TFC Ratchet. Pretend he's being taking his own stock of steroids.

I like that the chest area is beefy but other than that, its too far from the source. Arms and legs are too much.

Ratchet's been hitting the synthetic energon again.

Also, is that light piping on Ratchet?

I like my rachet buff looking. He is an old grizzled veteran of war, just like Ironhide.

Their vehicle modes are very appealing and I do like the fact that they have side view mirrors. Just a bit concerned that they might break off if the vehicle mode is not handled properly. Other than that, the shoulders and lower leg sections are a bit bulky. Though it would have been nostalgic if the upper part of the vehicle could have been detached to become a mini weapons platform for Ironhide, and for Ratchet a portable repair center. Design wise, for robot and vehicle mode, they are impressive!

Well, not until Animated he wasn't. But fair enough. :D

I don't know what it is about TFC's van bros, but I really, really love these guys. I'm pretty sure I'm getting one van bro from TFC and the other van bro from Voodoo for variety's sake.

Then I'll grudgingly throw in a TakHide, because official.

I really like these guys, but wish they had gone with a more stream-lined calf area. They just look too busy IMO. Likewise the shoulders for Iron hide. If it weren't for them, they'd be instant purchases for my MP collection.

Far be it from me to champion TFC (and not talking about G1 cartoon goddamn accuracy) but TFC engineered these guys really well. As transforming toy fans we should be pretty impressed with the work here especially compared with the peers...
