Thanks for the unfortunate news. I had hoped Skywarp would be the Starscream repaint, this confirms I will be skipping this figure as I'm not a fan of the mold.

Eww. Weak mold, weak colors. This will be an easy decision to skip.

I rather like the mold, and I think it's cool how both TC and SW have their colors, but switched around to not be so boring with recent previous ones.... gray and blue instead of blue and gray, purple and black instead of black and purple.

I love skywarp and all, but nothing can make me want the full sized C-Thundercracker mold. His skinny effeminate legs and ugly gun arm are bad enough and that paint job makes his forhead seem even wierder than usual... Meh, I'd much rather have the Mega Starscream mold.

Maybe this means we'll see mega-sized Starscream repainted as Skywarp and Thundercracker as club exclusives.

The only reason I can think of for them to release a recolor of Thundercracker over Starscream is that Thundercracker is the older mold.

That is too bad. Kind of like the idea of having Skywarp and Thundercracker being of the same mold, it's just too bad that it's a crap mold.

While I agree with everyone that Starscream repaint would've been better, and that switching black and purple from their usual spots is a bit odd, I havent actually bought Thundercracker yet so I'd consider buying this instead. I actually like his gun arm although I agree about the skinny legs. I'm more worried about his shoulders, though.

Hm I would have prefer it if they had reversed the Black and Purple....

Also the cheaper mold, thus more likely to be accepted as a recolour...

OTOH they could have repained the GF Starscream mold instead seeing as thats not had a proper cybertron Mass release, but most likely we're getting this repaint because there was a spare slot in one of the later deluxe assortments, personally I'd rather they repaint the figures than just re-introduce them to fill slots in the cases

    Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew.

Doesn't make any sense for their to be a Skywarp who looks completely different from LOC Skywarp, given they're supposed to be the same continuity. I don't care that it's not a good G1 Skywarp homage, since it's not him. I do care that as a plausibly realistic plane it fails miserably and that on it's own merits it's just plain fell-out-of-the-ugly-tree-and-hit-every-branch-on-the-way-down fugly.

Why didn't they do a nice tan recolour? Or a dark green Armada Thrust recolour? They'd both have looked so much nicer than this.

C'mon Hasbro. I was really thinking with Cybertron you'd become better than this.

Bah, I was hoping (like everyone else) for a Starscream repaint. I don't know, I like the colors but I dislike that mold. I might pick him up, maybe....

    Not EVERYONE thinks that...

I would also guess the Voyager Starscream mold will get released as Sunstorm, since they're making an LOC like that evidently.
