Amazon.com: Transformers Animated: Starscream Flies Again: Annie Auerbach: Books

An odd book popped up. It says Transformers Animated, but down at the description (only provides book info), at least on the Canadian version, it says "Publisher: HarperCollins Canada / Movie Tie-in (Sep 2 2009)"

    Movie tie-in? Animated? Curious.

The US release date is September 15, 2009. Guess we'll find out what it is by then.

    --------------

I'd also like to thank Fire_flybot over on Twitter for bringing the listing to my attention. :)  She's in Canada, so that's how I saw the info on the Canadian listing.

wouldn't be surprised if it gets canceled. Everything Animated related is getting canceled.

Oh come on MushroomPrime, let those of us who want to hope keep on doing so. It may be over, but then again, it may NOT BE. Only time will tell.....

yes yes, animated might be "over" but that dsont mean we wont get any new material ever agen. but hell, even a kiddy book is good news. anything that could tie up the loose ends that they couldent squeeze in is excellent!

Does seem rather interesting, title seems fitting/believable after yesterdays events too. It certainly wouldn't fit the bay movie verse. :lol

Not getting my hopes up though, could be just a mistake of some sort.

I'm not gonna jump the gun yet. With the cancellation of figs lately, this could just be a late listing. Hopefully if this does come out the book takes place after Endgame as I did not like the way they handled his death. Interesting on the movie tie-in bit. I'm guessing a mix up however

Nope, not even slight optimism allowed, lest you invoke Kick-Wrath. :)

I found this on amazon yesterday and did some looking around. It seems this company has done a few of this style book which appear to be screen shots from the show with dialog bubbles.

I miss Animated as much as the next person. However I feel this is just a late release of a kids book, not an indication of the continuation of the show.
