This doesnt really deserve to be in the customs section. Cause its just a head swap and some fun with G1 SW stuff.

Even though Animated SW head is show accurate, I cant stand his fugly mug.

Here is how I solved that issue.

Not bad. Kinda detracts from the whole animated concept, sure, but still not too terrible.

Maybe you should paint it to match the rest of the figure.

    Eh.

Just doesn't fit him too well, IMO.

    Doesn't fit all too well.

You should try to customize that whole body

The bat is from one of those "tech deck dudes" that resemmbles megatron/ratbat.

the head mod looks neat, I want to do the same with jazz and bumblebee so they don't look so goofy.

I think I like MP3 Soundwave a little too much to cannibalize the head to put on a toy which cost 1/8 as much to get. :)

You're lucky I got both of them last week...:lol

It's impossible to peg it because the hole on ML Soundwave's hand is too small to fit the guitar's peg. I had to use his 'curled' button pressing fingers to grip the guitar, it barely holds but I suppose it's doable. Maybe there's another way.

    Hope that helped.

The animated concept is often ugly, long faces then?

DOnt get me wrong, I kind of like them(The faces, tthe toys are great, regardless) but they still all kinda look like they have been hit in the face with a shovel.

I don't disagree, but it does still fit the whole scheme of things. Same idea as putting a regular TF head on a movie bot. Well, most of em anyway. :lol  There are a few that would work out well with.

    :bay

You might also want to paint in Laserbeak's guitar strings, eyes, and beak like me and my brother did. It helps improve the look a lot.

What i meant was that Soundwave's got a stout build as a general outline, and the ML head doesn't reflect that. Y'know, kinda like putting a Ken doll head on a Skeletor figure?

I suppose i see what you mean. I still think putting a G1 styled Ironhide head on his movie body would be awkward though.

Doesn't fit the whole different otherworldly aesthetics.
