I still stand by my vote for Animated. Season four, as I said before, would have had more in it than Prime will have in it's entire run.

Honestly, a fourth season would've been nice, but since they rushed to tie things up as much as possible during the third season, I was fine with it ending. I was disappointed, but hey, it's just a show and people have to get on with their lives.

I don't really care for Prime, but I'm digging the character designs, so at least I get to enjot all that animated eye candy.

 

Transformers Animated was near-perfect.
Transformers Prime is a decent cartoon.

My vote goes to TFA Season 4.

Although seeming bleak, I still hope for a comic to chronicle the events that Season 4 would've shown. It had so much potential.

I want something better than all 3 shows so your G1 comments don't effect me. It's obvious that there were grave disappointments there as well but since G1 isn't a part of this threads topic I wont go there.

I will say that Chin-formers was getting better with time. Whereas Shrek-formers is just a Decepticon snuff series that gets harder to believe or tolerate. I don't like the Current Autobot cast enough to watch then kill 20 cons every episode...IT"S BORING! And don't get me started on those kids....I guess showing the Bots ridiculously slaughter the cons wasn't enough for those writers. So now the kids are picking them off?

Yeah...so for the sake of this argument I'll go with Chin-formers definitely!

I went with prime, not because I dislike animated but because for me animated ended on a high with a reasonably satisfying conclusion for a piece of transformers fiction I'm sure idw will do some post season 3 fiction one day to satisfy everyone

I'm really glad that prime has happened as it has introduced loads of best ever takes on characters like starscream, arcee, soundwave, ratchet and also added some new things into the mix like silas/mech, knockout, airachnid, fowler and also did a completely new and unexpected take on unicron

also- given the improvements in season 2 with animation, character development, and tying the episodes together as a whole, i think its perfectly fair to say that TFP is improving in more than one area. Prime tries to blend comedy and tragedy in a more serious, artistic fashion than any other transformers tv show before it (my opinion). It's not perfect, but it is a good venture and when its all said and done i will be thankful that it happened.

 

So what you want fucking shakespeare or something?I'd say you have very unrealistic expectations for a kids cartoon but whatever.
