What would it look like in shattered glass. And are you taking commissions?

Got a 3D printer for Christmas and quickly decided this guy would be my first big project. I may be going a bit overboard...

YEEESSSSS! Do it! I am working on a downsized version that is less broken up. It will be easier to print and assemble, but wont print broken up into color components.

    I badly need a 3D printer.

Looking forward to that as long as it has the same amount of articulation :)
Painting isn't a problem to me

Alright, he's not fully finished (need more screws and some joints tightened plus other touchups) but I got him painted and assembled! Absolutely amazing figure, @myloschz.

    This figure is pure gold!

Can you make some size comparison with other figures?

(Man I really need to get a 3D printer)

Ask and ye shall receive! He stands at the size of a large 2010-era leader. A proper upgrade over TFA Leader Megatron!

I'm in the middle of a move right now, plus I'd need to tighten some of his joints first, but I can certainly look into making a video review.

Looks amazing! The panel lines and extra paint touches go a long way!
I have a downsized version all printed and awaiting assembly. I simplified the assembly to make it an easier print, so painting would be needed. I should have the files up soon!

Thank you for printing this and posting pictures! I am super happy that it is being enjoyed. It was a good simple design that Hasbro never used and deserves to be out there in some form!

That needs to be painted? It looks already spot on without the paint.

Thanks! You did such a great job with modeling it that I didn't want to leave all the amazing detail work unpainted.

It doesn't NEED to be painted, but I went ahead and detailed mine up to really make it pop. Plus now it looks more like how I imagine a finalized animation model would look.

Anyone have an exact quote of how much it costs to print the parts on particular shops? Also what quality is best to print the parts?
