Hi, I'm new and I've decided to register in this forum and to show you some of my works. These are the Battlecgargers in Animated version since there aren't any good TFA design of them. Here's Runamuck: He really looks like a punk, doesn't he? I really enjoyed to draw him also because at the begining I really didn't know how to draw them. His transformation mode is based from the ROTF character (that is just a movie Jazz redeco), while Runabout will have his G1 transformation mode, because I decided to make them different, I've also changed Runamuck's light/carglass colors. So, this is the first outcome, the next one will come later. EDIT: 08/12/2010 Added Runabout: He looks like a military unlike his partner, he also got the right equipment. I had some problems to draw an altmode who fits with his G1 robot mode and at same time to look like the Runamuck I did, but at last I did it! The only thing that looks different from his G1 counterpart is that the car's back isn't completely at his rear, there is only a part, and the rear wheels are on his shoulders instead of his legs with front wheels, but the rest like colors and other details look good.
The alt mode looks a little too simplistic to me, but I'd say he looks alright overall. One of his thumbs seems to be misplaced? - Alty
This is because TFA design is simple, anyway thanks! About the thumbs is just an impression, that's alright.
I really appreciate the Head design on this guy! Screams thug! Also, the car design is fine, but maybe add moar spikes
Thanks! Anyway I can't, I'll ruin his aerodynamics and I'm adding them on Runabout too, but in different places.
Thanks, I don't have neither the Allspark Almanacs, so it means that people don't need those books for draw a good TFA style, just watch the cartoon!
Very cool, these are my favorite Decepticons, I've even got e few chapters devoted to them in my Fan Fic. Runamucks head is awesome, and Runabout's alt mode is cool. These would make awesome figures.
I have to go with Alty on this one, look at both their right arms. The thumbs and other fingers have switched positions. A second remark is that Animated doesn't have 'simple' alt-modes, they have simple outlines yes, but the detailing and extra's are ussually very present. Another thing I'd like to point out is that you seem to have used the same 'bodytype' for both of them, maybe that's why the thumbs are wrong on both of them. I don't know if they're brothers or something, then it's fine of course But with combiners, if they are, they ussually have different forms. Let's say, it could have been a little more creative (I don't want to be offending or so) Of course, the positive things should be said too. I really like the head designs and the battlemasks. And the motto's sound good too. I hoep this is helpfull to you
