Not that interested in collecting movie TFs but that Bumblebee and Optimus do look very nice.

 

Bee doesn't look too bad, but Prime looks like shit. He's barely recognizable now. Oh well, I guess it's another round of seeing typical TF movie garbage that will clog the shelves for months.

 

Wow, the paint decos here look phenomenal. Both Prime and Bee look pretty great!

 

Personally, I'm happy with the new Shaddowspark Optimus. I was never able to get the leader class AOE mold, but was able to get the premiere edition Optimus. I got to say, this mold is way better than that one from what I've seen and definitely looks worth the money for that paint job. Love the exposition on the character description.

In regards to masterpiece Bee...I've never really liked Bumblebee but the toys were cool. This one seems fairly accurate compared to the last two we got with the High Octane one and the new one that looked like Bee on crack and steroids.

If they release anymore toys, I'm hoping for a return of the Human Alliance line with a HA Lockdown or something. That roadbuster retool we got in 2014 sucked ass. Great original figure as Roadbuster, but terrible originality as Lockdown.

 

Bee looks good. OP looks beyond atrocious. As expected and in line with TF4, he basically has a truck on his back. Easy pass for me.

 

I'll get the Bumblebee (but want to know how different it is from Battle Ops/Takara Movie Masterpiece Bumbleebee). I think I'll stick with the Weijiang M01 Commander or my Buster Optimus Prime instead for my Movie Optimus.

 

A gritty AOE Optimus and the millionth Bumblebee? yawn, wake me up when we get pics of Onslaught and Megatron\'s toys.

I will say I am in love with the new packaging designs at least.

 

Even if I despise the AOE Optimus Prime mold, the paint applications make this figure look miles better than the previous iterations. Although, it's odd they didn't use the Takara mold.

And Drift is like—all red...huh.

 

That deco on Prime looks really sharp, just a shame that the mold is a bit shit. Would have been nice to see this done with the new voyager instead, but if this is just an Asia exclusive then I can't see them doing more than a repaint.

That packaging though, that looks really good.

So that new Bee is *not* an MP figure, but rather a different style of "Masterpiece" right?

Hoo damn that MP Bee looks amazing. All new mold, I love how they incorporated the wings. Looks like his right arm has a flip-out cannon, too. Wonder if he has the shoulder missiles as well...

Man, this year is looking great to be a Transformers fan!  

 

What I want to know is..are those colors on Optimus gonna end up being movie accurate at some point or another, or is this toy this movie's silver knight Optimus?

Good excuse to not make a new mold for him and just rerelease the last movie version of him.  

 

Wow, Bee has diecast in him.

 

The prime figure has some interesting weathering on it, but it just isn't uniformed enough (i.e. shoulders feet, cab, etc).

The masterpiece Bumblebee looks fantastic, and it seems that these pics of it show it in a mistransformed way, if you look at this pic you can see that the wheels do sit in the ankle, and the wheels on the back can separate from the door section. I cant wait to see what takara does with it, and if they'll include a battle mask. It's also quite strange that a stock image is better transformerd for once  

It also gives hope for the potential of a movie masterpiece prime, especially with this quote from the MP36 thread "Before 2017 ends, a much long awaited character will be revealed. We hope you will enjoy!" (was a translation from the generations book apparently).
