Optimus looks to be the old AoE figure but with some painted detailing over him.

Movie 1 styled Masterpiece Bumblebee might take cues from previous yoys, but it should be a new mould.

The dark spark optimus is a premium recolor of the AOE Leader.

Shadow Spark Prime's colors (in bot mode) are really nice.

I wish they had done this for AOE Evasion Prime.

 

Optimus looks too well done. I prefer my toys medium, please.  

I hope Bee can rotate its wrists. There's have been too many Movie Bee figures with Gorilla Arm Syndrome.

 

I'm surprised Habro didn't use TakaraTomy's retooled version for this release.

 

So the Leader figure from the previous movie... with all of Takara's improvements to make it more screen accurate undone? Yay...?

Nice paint job, though. But still. Why not use the IMPROVED VERSION that exists? What the hell, Hasbro?

This should be from the 2017 Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair that is being held from January 9-12.

 

At first glance, I though Bumblebee was just a retool of the DotM Leader figure. But nope, entirely new mold. Compared to that figure, he's got more finger articulation, a taller neck, added collar flares, longer thighs, and finally has the smaller "sub-wings". I mean, obviously the entire thing is new, but those are the major things to look out for.

With all that new engineering, though, I kinda wish they had figured a way to rotate the wheels into his ankle area.

[edit] Or maybe they do, and this sample is just slightly mistranformed. There's a suspiciously large gap in his ankle area, with the only supporting structure being offset way to the side. Was also thinking that his chest panels seemed a bit too wide-set, but realized that his left headlight panel isn't pushed in as far as the right one, so that should shore that problem up nicely as well.

 

Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee looks great. The thought of an entire line of movie masterpieces makes my tinkle all fizzy.

 

I am really liking the colors on Prime! Too bad the packaging doesnt spoil much about what happened to him. T-T

So just a repaints of OP? I'd've thought they'd use the Armor Knight mould at least.

If that's a new mould for Bee then I guess it must be s nod to the 10th anniversary.

So it looks like Drift will have a load of red parts appearing from nowhere.

 

Bee looks to be the size of Human Alliance version or maybe a little smaller than the Exclusive Costco Bee.

I love the improvements. It's just a shame they didn't go with the more current version of Movie Bee.

 

Well, it's the tenth anniversary of the first movie, so that seems more appropriate for a "Masterpiece" figure.
