    Excellent news! This better happen. But even so, what is it gonna be about, as people have already said, Megatron and all the Decepticons are dead, Cybertron's gone. They'll have to bring in Unicron or Something.

    Unless they make it a prequel, like the Star Wars Saga. Now that would be cool, something to rival Star Wars.

    NO! No more movies!

    If this movie comes out it's likely it will interfere with the production of Transformers Prime which should be Hasbro's main focus at this point. Now if this movie was a prequel of sorts to Prime then I wouldn't mind.

    Ok, maybe not IDEAS, but the plots would get shittier over time and start looking worse than ROTF.

    I'm not surprised. Really, if you were the CEO of Paramount, and you had this franchise that kept growing with each installment, the last one made over a billion dollars, would you seriously stop this cash cow?????

    I've seen this statement being bandied around countless times. All I have to say is that everyone bandying it around has a stunted imagination. THERE ARE LOADS OF PROMINENT VILLAINOUS CHARACTERS IN THE TF MYTHOS WHO CAN SERVE AS REPLACEMENTS. TAKE YOUR PICK.

    True. While the fan favorite is Megatron, whose to say that perhaps some very clever writing and decent directing might manifest a new villain that might take us by surprise. Maybe they'll create someone completely new.

    Yeah, we are all aware about Jhiaxus, Thunderwing, Leige Maximo, Ratbat, Overlord, Straxus, and the like. Still, a Transformers story without one of the Big Four cons (Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave)...well, what's the point?

    Not necessarily. ROTF's messy plot was due to the writer's strike. When they finally got their shit together they had lost valuable time so they threw the ideas they had into one script and went from there. Now that Paramount has the time and resources to hire a new crew they can do this the right way and continue to do so.

    I hope Shockwave comes back alive, because the only thing happened to him was his eye. The mini docter bots can fix him up, and he'll be back! He will rule the Decepticons :D

    Uh, I would agree with you, but it was Optimus who tore into Shockwave, causing his cannon to hit the spire where the control pillar was. We do not see Shockwave after that, but it can be safely infered that Shockwave kinda got dead REAL soon after that. Because it's Optimus, and nobody survives a one-on-one with him.

    You must've missed the part where hes heavily hit by rounds of gunfire, brass knuckled in the chest by Prime, and said Prime clearly states "You die now!".
