I was watching the first Transformers Bay movie last night and I liked how Megatron says "join them in extinction! " Transformers - Join Them In Extinction! HD: Transformers - Join Them In Extinction! HD - YouTube The scene made me see how coincidental it was with AOE when Optimus said "..this is not war, it's human extinction."
Cool, Megatron TF1, "Join them In extinction" Optimus AOE, "It's human extinction" AND "We are all targets now" They joined them all right.
This would be more accurate: "[Joshua] will transform Earth's machines and build a new army. And the human race will be extinguished."
Um, which movie doesn't ultimatelyinvolve the absolute extinction of humanity by the hands of the bad guys? That's exactly what The Fallen was intending when he put the Sun Harvester on Earth in the first place, because he just wanted to kill everything on the planet for shits and giggles. And in DOTM, Sentinel's plan is totally batshit because it's doomed to fail as he's so caught up in the idea that Cybertronians are gods (and so shouldn't need to rebuild their own planet) he doesn't understand enslaving all of humanity will kill them off eventually and long before Cybertron is rebuilt because we humans are truly all needy bastards and take a LONG time to get to a point from birth to being an adult. And that's before considering most of Chicago was murdered to death anyway.
All uses of the word extinction in any movie ever are foreshadowing to this one giant robot movie. (Damnit, someone already used it...)
I think when prime says that line he is reffering to the war that takes place on earth. Because i mean every major battle with the decepticons has involved them trying to destroy earth, so its not really war it more just a conquest for the death of earth and mankind.
