For now... Some stuff has come in on time, like most of the latest Kingdom waves (Rodimus Prime currently has an ETA of Oct 1st. And have seen him at Target but at 84.99, I locked in the old 79.99 on Pulse though.) And the amazon exclusives came in early. So ordering from Pulse lately it can go from early to late.
Well either way I put in my order at Target before I knew it was on Pulse and now it's not at pulse! Not that I NEED this guy- he's a fun novelty but not something I'm pining for. BUT it would make a fun Halloween desk decoration.
Dang it, those in-hand photos look great, if I had seen those before Hasbro's stock photos that just didn't look right, I would have preordered this even knowing there's a good chance the legs will self-destruct over time. Oh well.
He looks way better than l expected. Lots of remolded parts. Still not my thing but makes me curious to see some other Moster Mashups. Wolfwire as Wolfman would be a good fit.....Mummy and Frankenstein ...hmmmmm
For the few people that have this guy, how’s the head transformation work compared to Mindwipe? Because y’know, no Headmaster.
The two we know for sure, if Hasbro likes these sales, are Wolfwire/Wolfman and Skullcruncher/Black Lagoon.
Skalor would make a better match to me. The fish he's based on is a rather weird evolutionary throwback and has a similar head to the Creature.
Aside from Pulse, is this a Target exclusive or not? I missed the announcement by a few hours and now it\'s sold out in both places. I have to be honest, I\'m getting really tired of all these exclusives, and the difficulty in finding the right info about them ahead of time. Earthrise Thrust and Bluestreak, Netflix Bumblebee and Soundwave are all figures I looked forward to for months but because I missed the one day they went up for sale online, I never found them. In-store distribution is a joke, so that didn\'t help either. Still can\'t find Kingdom Red Alert or Origins Bumblebee in any stores either for that matter. I don\'t know why toy collecting has to be this confusing and difficult.
Neat, I guess. But Dracula? Does anyone care? I mean compared to Jurassic Park or Back to the Future... I personally think that Mindwipe mold was an absolute disgrace. The bat mode is not imposing, and the soft rubber all over the place is going to get sticky and degrade fast (imo).
Springer. He’s got the right build. Just add a whip to his arsenal & I think he’d be all set. A brown/copper paint job would work to mimic his armor from the games & could pass as desert camo on the alt mode too. Furai Drift would work pretty good too, come to think of it.
