well, this one isnt here either, i figured id start it off....i like it...im curious to see where they are going...we know that the end of the last arc had showings of unicron and serpentor, so itll be interesting to see where they take it...i kinda dont understand why prime decided to take the joes robots though...wasnt it his decision to leave them there? thats kinda dumb...but i neverliked them in the first place....and i hope they explain why serpentor is serpent O.R. i wanna know what the OR is for...but yeah, good start, ive been a fan of these crossovers for awhile, so itll be cool to see where they go from here....

Love the big-battle cover. Love the artwork throughout the book. Some highlights for me were when Grimlock sliced off Cobratron's leg, and when Bumblebee got zapped and Cobra Commander said, "Of all those robots, I hate that little yellow one the most." :lol  Serpentor's new outfit = :rock

Quoted for freaking truth. DDP was wise to put Ng on this book, because if it wasn't for the art I wouldn't be buying issue 2.

After reading this comic, I'm really starting to resent IDW's G1. A lot. Here we have a first issue with no waiting for the action. No mindless action in place of a story. It's a happy medium. Action. Plot. Mystery. Hell, they even manage to do the connecting covers angle without the single issues looking like random poses.

And I like the fact that we're getting the real G1 designs. I also like the fact that the DW neo-G1/BW history that Hasbro had previously licensed as the official G1 canon for DK's Ultimate TF Guide is firmly in place here. In 22 pages they prove why there's no need to restart the stories that we all know by heart. Just tell new stories within the context of the existing framework. And just so IDW's fans don't gang up on me, frankly, this comic was better than the gawd-awful GI Joe: America's Elite comic too.

After four issues of a new G1 ongoing comic... THIS is the comic that finally satisfied my G1 craving.

Amen to all of the above! IDW take note - this is how you should be doing things!

I'm really liking this series so far. So much that I went and reread all the other GI Joe vs. Transformers issues last night.

I can't wait to see how series 3 ties in w/ series 2 reguarding Cobra-La (who I've just NEVER liked) and Unicron.

I enjoyed this, mostly because it's in the same vein as its predacessor.

This Joe/TF continuity is really carefree. Some of you'll love it, some'll hate it. It doesn't try to be overly serious, but more throw a bunch of fanwank together around a wacky story. Myself, I like it, but I see why some other folks wouldn't.

The Serpentor/"My Father" thing just rocked. That's how you go balls to walls and introduce Serpy into this continuity. Now all he needs to do is take over Cobra-La, summon Unicron, then blow him up with a Matrix-powered Broadcast Energy Transmitter.

This might be the best of these GIjoe TF series I have read so far. The first two didnt interest me a whole lot, but this one seems mildly amusing.

I agree about CC's comment about bumblebee being great, sometimes its the little things that make a comic entertaining.

I loved this story. I read comics for mindless entertainment. An OK plot is necessary, but the overthinking, super slow pace of the IDW comic is just killing me. On question I do have is this. Wasn't Cobra-La shown at the end of the one of the GIJ/TF crossovers? If so, they seem to be ignorning it at this point.

QFT. I've really liked the GIJ/TF crossovers. Seeing this come out the same day as Infiltration #3 really drove home the difference. Furman isn't typically as painfully slow as he's been in that ongoing. I imagine there is some heavy handed story editing going on there.

I have really liked these. They have that Marvel/ Sunbow feel that we all loved at one time. I do wish the stories were a little stronger but oh well.

It's funny, 3 different writers have tackled the TF/Joe crossovers and all were better than mainstream TF books. Even Blaylock's slow paced one had better moments, Like Mercer being blasted to kingdom come.

I trust Seeley. The man knows how to please people. Ever read Hack/Slash? Great book. The book was entertainig, stayed with previous continuity, and all that. Only thing I didn't get was earth forms on the TFs. They had G1 modes but in the previous mini, they had cybertronian forms.

Sounds like I should be looking this up.

PS: Cobra-La is...alright, but I will admit that Nemesis Enforcer rules.

whats with the 'my father' bit? i dont get it.

i think the art is o-kay, but the inking should have been better for a 1st issue. towards the end it looked sloppy with poor line thickness.

otherwise, for the most part, fun.

I'll be buying this comic just for the Predaking cover. But after reading some of your posts I may start collecting it for real.
