I am doing a speech in about a week and I have decided to do it as an informative speech on the history (real, not fictional history) of transformers. Can anyone provide me with a time line of toy line release years (and, if possible, sub line release years for G1 - at least Power Masters)? Also, what years did the Diaclone span (at least for the molds that were used in TFs)?

Yes, I am 27 and doing this speech in my college speech course. Yes, I remember G1 very fondly and watched / collected from just about day one. I just don't know the exact years for G2 to Armada as I did not get back into Transformers until Energon was already going on and Alternators has just started (only Smokescreen was available).

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

However, they're extremely US-centric and treat Japanese toys as "variants" of the US releases.

The Hasbro timeline was perfect for what I need.

As it turns out, I have too much info for this speech. That is ok though. I can just use this one as my 'visual aid' speech. :thumbs2:
