So should I cut out a hole on the top and line that with tissue paper then as well?

Doing 8x10s of each custom I've done and having them printed and framed for my gameroom. Here's the first one of my Scourge:

 

This is the first time I ever have to say something bad about your photos TJ, but I'm just not feeling the "outlined" glow on these.

TJ, some of your shots look like they are high quality concept art. Especially your last group of Prime shots. I am super impressed.

 

I would suggest it... OR what you could do first is line the top is crinkled tin foil and see if it works.

I'd try both out first (Small hole @ first) and see what has the best results.
And it could depend on the figure/background if you want to control the amount of light on that area.
