Are those vehicons hard to come by?

 

They didn't really end up getting released in America, and the Takara ones cost the usual import prices. There will be a different (in some people's opinions, better) mold coming out in the "RID" line eventually, so that one shouldn't be too hard to get

 

Awesome photos! I dig the Takara FE mold and can't wait to get them together with Deluxe Starscream and Voyager Megs (both are sitting in my PoL).

I really enjoy all your pics and these latest Beast Wars pics are no exception. I need to catch up on my BW collection, I haven't picked a single BW figure in a while  

I don't know if it's just me but I actually like high contrast pictures so the reflections are kinda neat, very nice pics!

I have never used mine as a hub, and now that your mentioning this I don't know if I even want t try lol.

Those pics are gorgeous! what I get from those pics is that Hasbro's CLiff is a timy bit more orangy, right? the Takara one looks a bit darker, kinda blood red.

 

Yea... they're both pretty much the same shade of red: Takara's is just slightly darker.

Honestly, it's probably the least difference I've ever seen in Has/Tak color jobs that are actually different.

Those look great CJ. I would love to see car mode shots as well. But it seems you forgot to flip the headlights forward for those shots.

 

I see the hot spots you're having trouble with. I'd suggest increasing the diffusion from your lights, or changing their angle. You can cover the front of the lamp with an extra layer or two of cloth (I have a cheap white sheet I ripped into strips for this purpose) to help with that.

I thought the shots were fine. I wasn't telling you to redo them. I was just pointing it out.

But yeah those shots still look fantastic. You put official photographers to shame. I wish you had done the Fall Bruticus shots.

 

Don't worry about it. Honestly, if something's fucked up, I think about anyone would take the moment to redo them. I appreciate you pointing it out.

And hey man, I can at least gaurantee he would've been transformed better than they did!
