I was the best man in a friends wedding this summer and had to wear a purple tie. Every single picture makes it look blue. The only way to fix it was to shift the tint just a fuzz to the red side.

Thanks for the link. I suspect the censor picking up light outside the visible spectrum is the cause. I use a Nikon D90 and had a Nikon 105 macro with white fluorescent lights. I need to see what happens in day light.

My general dislike of that mold aside, he looks pretty good. I just need to stay strong and not collect classics G2 too much.

I like the mold and I like G2 Megs but that face looks too happy. He doesn't look like a brutal military commander. You could always buy a headrobots it for it.

Amazing pics! I really like how clean those look! But I have to ask... have you noticed Optimus's right antennae is crooked? I'd hope that's fixable.

GDO Wheelie has such a good head sculpt... but I really can't see him using Jazz's mold for a body. The 3rd party figure to the left of him looks fantastic, if a tad on the large size, however.

Definitely a nice deco... but TBH, I want to find the original Inferno version to go with my Grapple. Not one or having multiples of a mold usually, but this figure has two display options, and between the retooling and an Gears of War upgrade kit, they'd look almost like different bots altogether.

    Nice shots though, definitely.

    New human alliances

Designed for different toy lines, at different scales, intended for different markets
and based on different properties, these two nonetheless belong together:

Given they're both Takara products, I imagine they were produced by the
same factory; they're certainly manufactured in the same color plastic.

They're both highly-articulated, and work well together in either mode...

    Reverb's hoverbike mode is a deliberate mis-transformation.
    I hated the bizarrely improbable, asymmetrical vehicle HasTak intended;
this configuration is both more realistic and more aesthetically pleasing.

Asuka's scale also suits the bike far better than the tiny human figure it came with.

I love how the space behind the shoulders forms an ideal seat for her.

Sergeant Detour, in the meantime, found a far more appropriately-scaled bike:
    Cyberverse Arcee.

Both alt. modes are greatly enhanced by their new human figures!
