I'm pretty happy about the spare set of blades. that means that Thundershred can actually have a big ass Fuuma shuriken instead of a small one!

 

The spare blade is a shocker to be because I didn't know it was a serious QC issue. I had no issues with mine.

One thing about 3rd party groups so far, they back what they put out. You can tell some of these groups are in it for the very long haul.

The second set of weapons will be neat because I saw someone hook the shoulder blades to the back but you need that round connector piece. Now we will get a spare one and no one asked for it. Keep up the great work FP. There is a reason you are the number one 3rd party group out there.

Wait... I like that they are including a spare replacement peice, but... what was wrong with the original on Thundershread? I can't find anything wrong with it..

 

thank you for the extra set of claw knife thingies. the peg holes were a lil snug on the original claws so a lot of people broke the tabs off their knives trying to them out of the pegs. some of us are a lil more rough with our collectibles.

 

Oh man those spare blades. Nothing on mine was terribly wrong outside of one being a little more loose than the others, but having the claws and the huge ass shuriken at the same time will be fun. For those who like the G1 claw look and the claws on the arms this will be a blessing. For me it means another badass shuriken. Better yet, two bigass shurikens.

Looking forward to this one as well. They're a bit simple for my taste, but Fansproject knows how to make weapons.

 

Awesome on FP's part to include extra weapons for Thundershred, that's exactly what I was hoping for them to do as soon as I saw TFC doing the same thing.

This sure is a good day for 3rd party news.

 

Nice. I snapped the connector one one of my blades on day one. I easily superglued it back together, but it no longer separates. I wasn't about to blame FP for that, though, I figured it was my fault (unlike the exgraver shovel crack, which totally wasn't). Nice to see them stepping up anyway.

 

Okay, so what about the guys who just bought the first one from BBTS? Do I need to worry about replacing my new item? Or should I just not even worry?

 

My Thundershred didn't have any QA issue but no harm to have extra blades LOL

 

Same here. I'll probably just sell mine to someone on here for 5 bucks or 10 bucks.

Wait I don't have time to read through the thread, so is this FP doing this or TF source fronting the extra blades?

 

Mine shipped out today; normally I'm not a fan of 3rd party stuff (only have Annihilator and Blesser) but Stormbomb looked too cool to pass up. Gonna have to get Thundershred now since I'll have the extra blades, and I'll probably end up with Backfiery if I like Stormbomb enough. Honestly, I've been looking forward to Stormbomb more than most legit Hasbro stuff  

 

I don't think you'll be able to do the G1 look AND the claw arms. From what I was getting at the we're just getting extra blades not the arm guards. You would need two sets of both to get that look.

 

You can still get somewhat of a G1 look; just put the blades on the circular piece and attach it to his back. See attached pic someone else posted a while back.
