If Bumblebee is returning to Earth, do you think they will bring Raf back (all grown up) If not, it would be cool if he had a cameo in the series.

 

Unfortunately, Raf suffered a burning death in the smelting pools.

They'll probably reference him if nothing else.

They brought the original trio in "Superlink" while bringing new human cast. I dont see why the kids from TFP cant return in "RiD".  

 

The TFP kids could be referenced as adults

 

As long as he's less mary-sue(ish). Then i'd be ok with seeing a grown up Raf.

 

As a child, he hacks satellites. As an adult, he hacks Transformers.

 

As an old dude, he hacks Unicron (and manages to mangle half of Vancouver after accidentally causing him to transform)!

 

What if he becomes a villain? He feels like he was abandoned by bee and the bots and he revitalizes mech? Would be an interesting arch. Also, ratchet said he would stay on earth. When Magnus healed he probably went back right?

 

If the kids are grown up logic would suggest you wouldn't use the same voice actors (unlike the Cybertronians who don't "grow up").

It would be a nice tie-in to have one of the kids as an adult referenced or used in the show in some way if indeed the plan is for this show to stay on earth.

I really like the suggestion of Raf going rogue and becoming a bad guy. It would make an interesting story arc for Bumblebee as he attempts to stop/redeem Raf... I might even watch that given I don't think we'll see much Optimus action in the new show.

 

God I hope they don't bring any Humans back. I loved Prime but the humans were superfluous.

-Agents Fowler, could have had a strong role. But was used to more comical and didn't add much.

-Jack had this almost a Prime story thing going that they did not follow up on, and I don't thing without Optimus they can continue.

-I hated Miko cause she had the wrong personality for someone who can easily get kills. Which i why I was super happy when she got the armor, could have lead to her causing trouble and not needing to be saved. So If she comes back, she need to still have the armor.

-Raf didn't do anything. His hacking skills were either pointless to the story or were countered. And why he could understand beeping was silly and unexplained.
The order i listed the human is the order I'd prefer to see them return and Raf is easily at the bottom of my list.

However, I do hope they all get a cameo at least. Just cause I didn't like most of them doesn't mean they didn't exists.

Oh I've sincerely been hoping so ever since I found out Bee's going to be showing up as leader. Love to see it, even if they go the whole "Raf as a villain now" route that's been suggested. I really don't like it when the old caste just gets summarily forgotten for the sequel series, and since I had a particular fondness for Raf, I'd love to see him used again.

 

They could always use a different VA if desired. Raf, was, after all, like 12 years old. His TFP voice would be totally out of place on a teenager or adult.

I'd like to see Raf come back in some capacity. It would be kind of good for the 'bots to have someone they already know for human allies, though they could always use Agent Fowler again.

 

Sad, Sad spoiler alert. He ends up dying a horrible, terrible, 'Nightmare on Elm Street' type death. Except Freddy Kruegar is replaced with a vengeful, shadow-zoned Soundwave.

 

Now I'm not fond of Raf however I agree with you that it sucks when the old cast gets forgotten for the sequel series.

 

What I've learned is that Jeff Kline apparently mentioned the kids about returning to the show but he hasn't decided whether he should have them return or not.

Perhaps they'll make a cameo appearance. Perhaps.
