I just watched the new TV Show, it's not that bad, Transformers Prime still rocks of course, but this one is positively "unusual", I mean... no more the same "Optimus VS Megatron" stuff over and over again (I've heard Optimus is facing Megatronus, better known as the Fallen ...I hope). The idea of a former scout (then warrior) playing the leader makes me fun. The only thing that show annoys me are the Decepticons! Really? Animal looks? Why not the Predacons then? They are in this continuity too... the previous RiD there were Predacons (and of course Decepticons with normal robotic look). Anyway I thought to make a different team with similar personalities (for not saying worse than actual) by picking some characters from other continuites (my favourites), obviously making a TFP character as the leader. So I thought Smokescreen was an ideal alternative: young and inexperienced. Of course I included in the team: a cop, a punk, a former 'con Dinobot and a... round Wrecker (not Bulkead, sorry Fixit). I think Smokescreen will surely get a nervous breakdown with the team I'm gonna make for him... I wanted to keep his Prime design since in the comicbook they did the same, I just made slightly changes to make it more animated and repainted him back to white. Hope you like it... Update: 01/06/2015 Second member revealed: It took me forever to make a proper design on him, I made his chest twice and changed his proportions multiple times (in TF RiD heads are smaller), but at last I found a way to make this one and feeling proud of it. If he is in the show, he would be the Leader of Cybertron's Police and he would work as Smokescreen's mentor. He has got a mixed TFP Ratchet's and Judge Dredd's personality: cold, rule-bound (even worse than Strongarm) and a bit grumpy. Poor Smokescreen... Update: 08/06/2015 Third member revealed: I had a lot of fun drawing this one and I really like how he turned out! I did everything possible to make his parts look like his movie namesake. He is a former Wrecker and later joined the team as weapons specializer (there's at least some Fixit in his role). His rude and violent personality makes a lot of trouble to his crew, and even worse to the Decepticons. Like I said, Smokescreen will deal with a lot of troubles. Fourth member revealed: His role in a possible TV Show would be... the same in Beast Wars. A Decepticon veteran who joined the Autobots, but still thinking if he made the right idea. Also his personality is always the same, Dinobot is Dinobot.

Nice! He looks great. I haven't seen the new show yet, I thought I had potential though, and the designs were just as good as prime (Probably my favorite designs in transformers TV shows).
Well... there's more commedy than action because the show is made for a younger public, but that doesn't mean that it has nothing good to offer. For now I'm enjoying the series and the news about reintroducing other TFP characters in second season makes me trustful.
Smokescreen looks like he's jumped straight out of RID15. Pretty impressive are you thinking of doing characters that aren't from TFP in this like the other Dinobots? As for your thoughts on the show I'm liking it as well though I'm actually liking the idea of some of the Decepticons having animal looking robot modes. I mean we've had some TFs in G1 like Ravage,Laserbeak,Sky Lynx and Trypticon having animal based robot mode which isn't often nowadays.
Well that looks great Will you be doing other characters that have shown up in the show and those who haven't? Like Predacons, Dinobots, and some other teams and other single characters like Megatron, K.O., hell even dead ones? This holds great potential so I'll be watching this thread
I'm glad you like my work, I like to make new characters or redesign canonic ones by myself. Speaking about the show, it's just a matter of taste. Enough for me there's Megatronus who carries a normal robotic look... Thank you! Well... I have other 4 Autobot to complete now, I can just tell you that some of them died in the continuity they come from (another hint of the riddle I placed on the description).

Wrecker could be Whirl, I guess, or Wheeljack, for that matter. I think for the former 'Con dinobot...Dinobot himself.
Wreckers aren't only in G1 and Prime continuites... And about the other one, well... you will find out soon.
