Just a heads up - I've had the Titan tpb Purchance to Dream on pre order from play.com for a while now - and whilst it not offically due to be released until feb 24th - mine is showing as being packed right now and it's a whole 100 pennys cheaper than retail.

Never really did read any of the black and white stuff, how were they?

 

I think that's one of the collections I asked my comic store to order for me. Guess I'll find out soon.

 

Like a lot of the 80's comic - some good - some bad.

There are some really great stories in there - some of which link in directly with Furmans run in the later US comics, and there's also a bit of an epilogue to the whole time wars saga.

Unfortunately you also have a number of short (only about 6 pages long) - self contained stories about the autobots "Earthforce" - many of which are frankly dreadful - Not quite wresteling micromasters dreadful - but still pretty poor.

 

i recently picked up earthforce and currently waiting on my order of the previous 3 mini books.

from what ive seen, i like em. theyre refereshing in that theyre free from continuity constraint and for the most part, have a fun spirit abt them. also, you get to read on the classic bots who were woefully neglected during the 1st run. plus, theyre dirt cheap.

 

Most Comic Shops will have Perchance to Dream on Weds the 22nd. Shipping also is the IDW G1 Volume 1 TP.
