Before I start, I did do a search and did not find anything on the TF PRime toy sizes. So anyway.

I was at my my local TRU and bought a couple TF PRime First Edition Vehicons to turn Silver. Then I stopped by Wal-mart and bought the TF Prime Vehicon (White packaging newer Junk). Got them home, opened them um to start pre-custom cleaning. I noticed something very interesting. The TF Prime FE is MUCH bigger than the Regular Retail TF PRime release. Here is a snapshop..the TF Prime FE is on the left, the "New" Retail realease from wave 1 is on the right.

Now the TF Prime FE Vehicon cost me $15 at TRU, and the "retail" TF Prime Vehicon was $16 at Wal-Mart. I understand the economics of doing business. I also understand that costs go up while the sizes will shrink a bit. But seriously??? There is a big difference between these two.

The non-FE is still better in my opinion.

thought the vehicle sizes are different, in robot mode they are almost the same exact height. I agree that the Rid version looks better in robot mode, especially if they are standing next to a Jet vehicon.

And it doesn't matter as the RiD figures are better than FE in most cases.

Either the search tools need a serious overhaul, or you need to learn to use them better.

In some cases, yes; in most cases, no.
The superiority of RiD Arcee and Vehicon is well-established, as is the inferiority of RiD Bumblebee, Optimus and Bulkhead. The only grey area concerns which Cliffjumper is better, as the fandom is clearly divided on the issue.

They've gotten smaller!? How come nobody's mentioned this before? I would've thought it'd be everywhere!!

No mention of the fact that RID Vehicon is vastly superior in every way, even if the car's smaller. Its not like the figure suffers size-wise at all in robot mode, either.

Bulkhead and Starscream are the only FE's that are better.

I KNEW that Hasbro had been making them smaller and smaller. The Difference between the classics/generations line and the TF Prime line are evident. Read many posts on that one. However I was NOT aware that the FE Vehicon and the Retail release Vehcon were different sizes. I am so glad I was able to start a post that allows some to be asses about it.

Ehh. My original post stands. The PRID Vehicon was one of the most anticipated figure from the line. Once he was available , there were countless reviews an raves an tons of discussion on him as well as his 1 per case ratio. This lasted, pretty much the entire summer. An I'm not trying to be an ass, but you would of had to of been in a coma to not know about this figure. ( or just not into the Prime line at all )
