If anyone is planning to attend the Tampa Comic & Toy Con on July 12th, I'll be at the Toys R Us table providing free TF sketches before and after the panel. The panel will feature a trip around the world of our favorite robots in diguise, including their origins right up through ROTF. The panel is great for all ages and should be fun for any TF fan.

Toys R Us, my employer and local sponsor, is going to be offering a TF prize pack and displaying a portion of my collection which will represent a sample of the 25 year history of Transformers. You can read more about the con itself and the other happenings by clicking the link in my signature.

 

I've been going to this particular Con for a few years. I will be there now, for sure.  Cool beans!

 

This is the first I've heard of this Con... where can I find some deets?

It's usually fairly small, but the dealers it attracts have some decent stuff and deals from time to time.

And it doesn't usually feature anything near as awesome as a Transformer panel.  And if that weren't enough--it's like $5 to get in.

I hope all of you who were there had a great time. I know I did. That was one of the better attended Tampa Toy & Comic Book cons in a while, I think.

 

Yea, that was fun - definitely the highlight of the con for me. I don't know a whole lot about TFs after G1/before Alternators so it was cool to hear about all the lines. Also seeing the old commercials was funny! The only thing I was expecting was a bigger toy display, but it was cool to see all the ROTF stuff. This was my first con, and I knew going in it was a small type con so I wasn't expecting a lot but had a good time.

The promoter and I are already discussing something for the Nov. show.
