I've been gone a bit as I'd been moving. Now I'm settled, getting commissions out the door and adding new projects to the boards.

    Enjoy some Ironhide!

That is perfect! Is it possible to paint under the fake window chest?

    Thanks!
It is if you are super careful about removing the rivets.

Well done! There's a few "Kup" snips of green peaking out in a few spots though. Love the detail work

Aside from the fist holes and deep inside the knees?
Oh, the hood hinge. No way around that.

That looks awesome! I never realized how accurate the figure was to the concept art until it was painted like this. Well done!

Dig it - I was just trying to determine whether the DLX or CVC mold was more accurate last night...

Looks great as always. Do you take the figure apart to paint?

Not trying to troll, just be constructive/hopefully helpful. RIT dye would do it for some/most of those problem areas.
    Cheers man

well done man! i think if you did the details under the windshield itd be icing on the cake :)  i think black is definetly the right color for his secondary armor parts just as you painted it. Very well done.

    Thanks all around, guys!

I took no offense. Though be aware that RIT has changed their formula and it doesn't work remotely as well on plastics anymore.

Good old Testor's Gun Metal! I love the stuff!

Awesome custom! The added paint apps really brings the figure to life.

What do you use to seal in the paint, BTW? Looks like it might get scratched if you're not careful during transformation.
