Dear TFans,

As the 2010-2019 decade approaches its end, it's time to cast your vote for the best TF figure of the decade.

In the write-in stage, we are collecting candidate TF figures.
This thread will collect candidates until the 29th of December.
In the voting phase (30-31) we'll cast our votes!

To make it simple, we'll have categories for each size class, with a couple of exceptions:

• Titan class
• Commander class (or anything else between Leader and Titan)
• Leader class
• Voyager class
• Deluxe class
• Legends class
• Battlemaster
• Titan Master
• Micromaster
• Prime (PotP)
  
• Masterpiece (any size class)
• Combiner (any size class)

TFs which are only available as part of a giftset will be referred to individually, unless it's a combiner team.
What matters is the TF figure, independently from how it was distributed.

For each voter, only one entry is admitted for each category.

E.g.

"I can't decide between Cosmos and Powerglide, so my favourite legends are:

-Cosmos
-Powerglide

in no particular order"

In this case, only the first name in the list will be considered (Cosmos).

Given the numerous 10+ years-old figures being suggested in the other best and worst of the decade threads, it might be helpful to remind everyone of what's eligible. The lines that came out in 2010 were Power Core Combiners and Hunt For the Decepticons/Reveal the Shield. Nothing from Universe 2.0 is eligible. Nothing from Animated. Obviously nothing from the 2007 movie line or the Unicron Trilogy. Personally I'd disqualify anything from Revenge of the Fallen as well, just to keep it simple, even though technically the NEST refresh came out in 2010.

 

Titan: I only have Fort Max, so TR Fort Max

Commander: Siege Jetfire. I don't have any of those other guys..

• Titan class - Power of the Primes Predaking - I just found him the most playable out of all the Titans. They're all a little too unwieldy to me, and I find more enjoyment out of the individual Predacons over Devastator. and the Constructicons.
• Commander class - Siege Jetfire - By default. I'm hoping Star Saber gets released in this size.
• Leader class - Legends EX Greatshot - This one was tough. It was between this, Legends Ginrai, or Studio Series Blackout. Ended up picking Greatshot because I had the most fun with him and I just like how he looks in general.
• Voyager class - Thrilling 30 Springer - This could very well be my favorite figure of the decade. One of the few triple changers hat doesn't compromise any of the three modes.
• Deluxe class - Prime RID Vehicon - One of the cleanest transformations I've ever seen. I still remember the absolute frenzy everyone was in over this figure.
• Legends class - Thrilling 30 Swerve - I just like his character in the comics. This figure is a perfect representation of that character.
• Battlemaster - Siege Lionizer - Most of the battlemasters are uneventful, so I went with the most interesting one I own.
• Titan Master - Titans Return Shuffler - Best weapon and alt mode out of all of them, so that's why I went with it.
• Micromaster - Siege Stakeout - No particular reason with this one. I just like the color scheme and he's pretty solid.
• Prime (PotP) - Power of the Primes Metalhawk - When you have one, you pretty much have them all. There's no wrong answer for this.
  
• Masterpiece - MP-13 Soundwave - He's my favorite character, so it's a biased pick.
• Combiner - Power of the Primes Abominus - He's Superion but better.

 

• Titan class - Combiner Wars Devastator - This thing was ambitious, and, while it has its flaws, has an incredible combined mode, 2hich was the point. When a mainline release finds its way into Masterpiece displays, it’s something special.
• Commander class - Siege Jetfire - It’s just one of the best releases of the past decade of any class, period.
• Leader class - Power of the Primes Nemesis Prime - Sure, he’s a retool, but he was distinct enough from regular Prime. He’s big, bulky, loaded with accessories, and has a pair of excellent headsculpts.
• Voyager class - Siege Starscream/repaints- This is such a great mold, and it’s terrific in both modes.
• Deluxe class - Siege Spinister - The sculpting is fantastic on this one, the rotor-locking mechanism is solid, and the joints are tight yet buttery smooth. This was a tough category. Siege was loaded with great deluxes, and I did enjoy older figures like TR Triggerhappy and Brainstorm.
• Legends class - PoTP Beachcomber - He hits that G1 feeling with a bulky, blocky body, has nice paint detailing, and a great headsculpt.
• Battlemaster - Siege Pteraxadon - It’s a good color combination, and the axe alt-mode feels very appropriate. The transformation feels better on this than other Battlemasters.
• Titan Master - TR Apeface - It’s a better face than the Siege Apeface, and there just aren’t a lot of Titan Masters that are practically automatic replacements on other figures.
• Micromaster - Siege Countdown - He has good detailing, and, unlike many of the other Micromasters, he doesn’t fall apart when you transform him.
• Prime (PotP) - Tie between them all, because, in my opinion, they were a dumb, cheap gimmick that meant nothing to me. Pass on this category.
  
• Masterpiece (any size class) - MP-10 Optimus Prime - As far as I’m concerned, this is THE definitive MP of the decade. It set the design style for years, was a must-have for all MP collectors, drove the 3rd party market designs for years, and was very high quality, unlike its “upgrade” MP-44, which had a number of well-documented QC problems.
• Combiner (any size class) - UW Superion - Unite Warriors did a lot to provide original teams with better paint, but Superion gets the nod because it was one of the most solid combiners overall. It was also the one that seemed to benefit the least from the various upgrade kits, which spoke to its overall quality right out of the box.

 

Titan class - TR Trypticon
Commander class - Siege Jetfire by default I guess.
Leader class - pass
Voyager class - T30 Rhinox
Deluxe class - Difficult choice. I'll reluctantly go with Siege Barricade.
Legends class - Cyberverse Spark Armor Sky-Byte
Battlemaster - Siege Smashdown
Titan Master - LG63 Noble. An inventive repaint of a unique mold.
Micromaster - Siege Ravage
Prime - PotP Octopunch
Masterpiece - MP-43 BW Megatron
Combiner - pass
