I asked this question in another thread but I wanted to make an "official" poll and see which age groups liked or disliked the live action TF movies. It seemed to me that the younger crowd didn't have any problems with how Prime and most of the other Autobots was portrayed as more bloodthirsty bots, or the plot problems, ect...so I just wanted to see for myself. This isn't meant to bash anyone or even the movies themselves, I'm just curious to see if liking the movie is just a generational thing or what. Feel free to post an explanation of your vote or whatever. Thanks BTW, this poll is private unless you want to share. Added poll as soon as I figured out how. lol
We could sure use a poll in this thread. Anyway, I'm 15. Liked both movies. Agree that they could have been much better.
Hmm, should I have separated the two movies? I kinda wanted to view them as a whole, but I know some people loved TF1, but hated TF2, and the other way around. Let me know what you think.
BTW, I'm 31 and I liked the movies but agree they could have been MUCH better. I've already posted why I think this so I won't rehash it here.
21, I clicked "loved", though I do agree they could've been better. I saw bits and pieces of the original cartoon as a wee lad, then got into Beast Wars when it was new, and lost my flair for Transformers until the movies, and the Movieverse is probably my favourite.
Almost 35, grew up with G1, and loved them both. I'll see your goosebumps and raise you a boner lol), when Optimus deployed from the C-17.
Im 14 and both movies where the greatest movies Ive ever seen in my life!!! I even tried liking other movies better, but I just cant betray Transformers like that!
I'm 33 and everytime I've seen ROTF, I was tempted to play "The Touch" on my cell phone when they combine Jetfire w/ Prime.
Wow 2 pages and no flames, this is gotta be a record. =) Keep it up guys. So far the poll is showing what I predicted, but there have been a few exceptions.
I suppose you could slip me between the last two vote options. I'm 35 and I neither hated nor liked the movies. It's more like a cold chunky fudge of stale disappointment when I think about them.
