this is my first post, i m a newbie of custom TFs. my skills poor, hope that u guys, custom elders & masters give me advices. thx a lot, hop u enjoy. i ll keep update my collections, pls feel free to leave message & advice me. ^^ first come, Bludgeon, as my first repaint, its very poor v v. i wait for my head-robot blood kit to re-re-paint him. 2nd one, rocket launcher tank, Dropshot, i luv the un-even matt green to make it more realistic. of coz, Autobots gonna do it better. welcome the Breacher & Brawn. as breacher, i hate those black feet, so i reference the UN vehicle to make him a change. as Brawn, i luv the origin brown, therefore just a little re-paint job. see, he is the perfect partner with the white tiger from Device Label.
then, the very rare flight mode autobot that would see in the movie. Tomahawk. i reference the Apache though they re far from similar. besides, i dun luv the big foot too, i change the foot transform like below, which i find it comfortable & stable.
back to Decepticons, here come the famous Wrecker & G1 like Hardtop. In Hardtop, i luv its tiny & simple design, but his color scheme & over large weapon bother me. his alt mode is fine, but he cannot stand very properly at robot mode, so i decided to fix a little. cut the inside knee part. both upper & lower part, so his ball joint could make use. a very rough laser gun but it is his size now. he can stand like a man, pose like a man now. ^^
after lots of ROTF guys, one dotm bot re coming out. Ironhide (clap clap clap). his death is truth, i still hope he will come bk to me at next movie. coz i luv him very much >..< first of all, this is still WIP, i finised the re-paint & some fix a time ago. but i leave some other undone. wht i wanna share is little fix & my version of arm mod though it seems OLD news. below shows the left hand weapon door fix. all u need is a small magnet & iron wire. now, my arm mod, all u need is 4 pcs. magnet, plastic sheet & super glue. Cut out the door then the connect part too. it will just leave a little hole on the arms. glue the magnet on the door that pic shows. cut the plastic sheet to fit the width & place it inside the door window gap (see the pic for reference). glue it, with magnet glue on plastic too. then the plastic should now between the magnet to make the door in position, plus, it can be remove as ur wish or between transforming. Now, Ironhide make more room the fight ~_~ Will keep post or maybe New thread for my final Ironhide. comments re welcome ^o^/
I love them all!! I'm not fellin' Hardtop's all white alt. mode....but I like what you did to the robot!!
I hate what habsor made of the f35 with that bot, but love what you did for all these bots. Nice details, nice engineering. On Hardtop, I'd add a bit more color to him, maybe detail his face a bit, the pure white (unless he's just been primed) is kind of a down for him, he could be so much more. Otherwise, man, you'll find your niche around here in no time. Welcome aboard.
