Oh, no! I'm not going through ANOTHER team event so soon after the fiasco that was the original run of "Me, Grimlock, King!" It will just wind up being another waste of resources.
Ooo crap but i already got all the cards except Grimlock why cant they re run it but make it a pvp episode its been a while since one of those..
I wish we could have a PvP episode. The teammates don't do anything. Which causes me to always lose and get a 2/6 day wins everytime
Translation: We made a bunch of unpopular changes to the rewards structures because we couldn't figure out how to stop power creep on decks. Then when we botched an event type that we haven't been able to get right from day one, we made the problem worse by giving every single player a massive deck power boost, on top of all the resources we gave away as apology gifts. Now we're stuck with the same power creep problem, made worse by piling free resources onto it. We really really really want to get the Team Battle event type working, because it's a massive drain on resources, and Grimlock/Dinobot events tend to eat up resources, so we're going to keep running this stupid event type and recycling the cards until everyone depletes their resources and we have them back where we want them. And I am going to laugh my ass off when something else gets horribly broken when they try it again.
My team did nothing all 6 days... I managed to win one day, which earned me snarl... Here's the funny part... I got two complete slugs, one swoop, and one snarl(robot + alt+ weapons)... Don't understand how, but awesome!
I stopped regularly playing 2 events ago when it became obvious that my deck would pretty much stay at the same level unless I dropped a huge amount of cash to buy better cards and spend hours upon hours every single day to reach and maintain a reward level to get cards that would actually be useful in improving my deck. The fact that the in-event point rewards don't give cards anymore doesn't help, either.
Yeah, this isn't really a game so much as a skinner box with cool Transformers art as the treat. I don't fault people for enjoying it, but I have stopped recommending it.
I do like how they pepper it by saying that EVERYONE has a chance to earn that Grimlock card. Yeah ok.
Well, yeah. Everybody can give them real money in return for a <1% chance to draw the fake video game card. That's technically not a lie.
well....i won 5 days and on the six there was a massive difference with the other team so....they also gave me Grimlock's RMC!! happy. but damn, it's crazy hard to fully upgrade a lv6 card!
I would've been happy to see this as a chance to stop playing this game for a week, but I still want to trans scan Shockwave so he can be in my deck for a while. ever since they made the "you cant get episode cards from point rewards anymore, and also buying their bot and alt modes takes 300 more rubies each than they used to" change, I havent been able to collect both parts for trans scanning. but, hey, they're re-running the one event where I already did half of it, so I can get my favorite character. hooray for inane garbage
in other news, I'm embarrassed that I managed to lose out on not one, but two autographed Mindwipes that I was lucky enough to have pop up
