wow..this hasnt been posted yet...anyways, im basically bored with most of it...theres just not much happening...which drives me nuts...and ratchets explanation of the decepticons infiltrating "geopolitical infrustructure formenting global anarchy" what the hell is that crap? i know its a new take, but theyve always just wanted to conquer...i just dont know...ill probably stick with it cuz im a whore, but bloody hell...at least i have beast wars, and the new cybertron based series (which is what i believe is coming next) so that i can have a good transformers story not littered with stupid characters i dont give a flying feces about...

the length is a big thing too, its just too quick of a read. i read invincible 29 and that has so much going on that it takes awhile, though its the same amount of pages, but then this comes up and out, and bam...its over...what the hell? and even the designs of the bots looks silly...its like they saw the gijoe transformers crossover and said, hey, lets take those joe bots and stick parts on them...BORING....maybe once this arc has a few more issues itll pick up...but if not theres a chance i may drop it...which sucks, cuz i want to love it....

this also makes me worried because the movie is attempting to do something similiar, and i hope that it learns from this book on what not to do....we really dont need human characters this much to make us care for what happens....beast wars has always been a good example of that...oh well, heres to better issues...

I gotta say, I'm really REALLY disappointed. I wanted to support this book, but I'm just bored to tears with the story and the Gundam-inspired redesigns are just awful. After my subscription runs out (#6), I'm done unless Simon can totally wow me before the last issue of my sub. After that, I'll follow the reviews and see if the second & third arc go somewhere and buy them as trades.

Terrible. It is just as bad as I feared it would be. Just so sad after the (IMHO) near perfect DW comic.

I enjoy it. It's a slow first arc to introduce the main characters. It will pick up speed in the next arc.

I still enjoyed it. And personally, the gundam-esque legs don't distract me from the story. To me, the humans feel natural, they don't feel forced in or wind up annoying like the Armada ones.

The humans are the least annoying in any TF medium since Marvel G1 Buster. They can be tedious at times, but Jesus, the Armada/Energon/Cybertron kids made me want to slaughter puppies.

The 'Gundam legs' are a pretty appropriate description for a horrible idea that needs to quietly go away by the second arc. Tweaking the designs or alt modes isn't a bad idea, but that shit just don't look right.

Story seemed to be picking up with this issue, but it's still nowhere close to the DW G1 ongong.

Its kind of boring me too...3 issues (well 4 if you count issue 0) and really nothing blowing my hair back yet. But I understand that background needs to be re-established and all, so I will give it more time. I do like the art style though, that doesn't bother me one bit.

I'm really loving the story, easily moreso than the Dreamwave story. Most of the redesigns are atrocious, particularly Bumblebee, although I do rather like Ratchet's chest design. But overall I really dig Infiltration and can't wait to see where it goes.

There needs to be a yawning smilie - just for this comic.

I could (almost) handel the gundam legs if it wasn't just so god damn boring.

3 and a bit issues in and I just don't care about any of the characters.

Come on Simon - speed it up a bit!

The story is strong, interesting and a fresh, badly needed rethink on the mythos. As much as I loved DW's ongoing, this is better.

Still hate the Gundam legs, they need to die a terrible and horrible death.

Arrived earlier, and this is absolutely chock full of things I appreciated. Verity in Pat Lee distortion-vision on the cam. A little hint of psychopathy in Sunstreaker's dialogue. "Why are we here?" The very real sense of danger accompanying the Decepticons, the cinematic moment with Ironhide, Bumblebee living up to his spy credentials (and manifesting as a woman), Bruce Campbell running an auto-lot...

Unlike some, I'm not bothered by the colouring -- the only time I did a double-take was when Prowl has a light source right behind his head, and it fits. Use of washed colour in low-lighting situations (Autobot base, the garage in earlier issues) is something comics companies often don't bother with, as they want everything bright and shiny for the entire duration.

The last couple of issues have been one extended "wow" moment. Fingers crossed it'll stay like that.

Woo, mysterious thing buried in Earth. Woo.

I like the story so far. Fans have to realize that we can't have a typical G1 storyline over and over again. Yes, we love the classics, but a fresh new take on the mythos is a welcomed change.

I don't HATE it, it gives me my TF fix and all. But personally, I'm sick of seeing G1 from the begining. This is what... the 10th start over? And we never can get to where an ending comes to be. I would much more interested in a book that ended the US G1 cartoon, or the G2 comic series, or the Dreamwave series....
OR just started AFTER the beginning stuff so I don't have to go through it all over again.

By the way, what'd people think of the TF v G1 3 book? It may be the first one of these cross overs that I can really get into.

Eh? Could we get a list of those that have started in the last five or ten years? There are about thirty-odd original series timelines, but most are 80s and early 90s.

I wouldn't be enjoying if it was starting over and retelling. New -- now that I like.

Judging by the preview, it's an unserious popcorn comic. Great if you like bright colours and extended in-jokes, but I'll be passing. I want a bit more realism from most comics these days.

It reminded me a bit of the "Beast Within" DVD pack-in comic, where the Dinobots form an exaggerated gestalt.

I enjoy the story in Infiltration and I believe it will pick up but I really dislike the redesign of the characters. I like the classic vehicles better but they are a bit out of date and I can let that go but the robots should at least resemble their former selves a little more. I mean, Bumblebee didn't even get a vehicle upgrade and his robot mode looks radically different! The fact that the old G1 style robots and vehicles appear on the cover is misleading as well. To me it almost seems like false advertising. The letters column indicates more positive letters than negative ones but that's to be expected. No publisher is going to print more than one or two letters explaining how awful their work is.

As for G.I. Joe vs. TF 3. I like it. I like it a lot more than Infiltration. The art is better, the story is more interesting and all this after one issue! (Well, alright maybe more than one issue if you count the other LS). I think Dreamwave had it right even though it wasn't always easy to tell what was going on in some panels, I liked where the story was going.

I think "Readers, BEGONE!" would be a more accurate description.
