So which TF figure(s) you own would you keep no matter what--even if it doubles in price, or if a better, more modern figure comes along, for example? If you reach a point when you have to sell 99% of your collection, which ones would you keep, which ones are your "1%"?

Wanting to replace a figure you love with the same figure that's in a better condition is okay--he would still count.

Here are what I can think of at this moment:

    1) G1 Optimus Prime
    2) G1 Victory Saber
    3) G1 Trypticon
    4) Powermaster Optimus/God Ginrai
    5) G1 Overlord
    6) MP-10
    7) FE Optimus Prime

MP-04. I imagine that my interest in Transformers will eventually dwindle to the point of selling off my collection, but MP-04 would be the ultimate keepsake for me.

    1) g1 optimus with diaclone super-charged launcher and peg-less roller
    2) g1 thundercracker MISB no grey boarder.
    3) g1 prowl with diaclone sticker on hood only (encirciled takara japan copyright)
    4) MP-10
    5) MP-8
    6) MP-13 (I'm that sure in advance)

I have MP-4 too. But now that he's selling for 300++ USD, I'm thinking of selling him and just getting a loose MP-1 for display. But I'm trying hard to resist the urge...

Come to think of it, any version of the MP-1 mold (but not the black or white versions) should also be part of my list...

    Not a TF, (sorry).

    Original Ultrazord.

I would save that toy in a fire.

It's okay man, I also have a bunch of Braves that I want to keep.

Original Ultrazord<----What does this guy look like? I tried googling him, but I'm no sure which is which.

I dunno, I'd probably sell all of them if I had to... but I'm thinking the last one to go would be the upcoming MP Soundwave. MP-11, Faith Leader and MP Grimlock would be next in line.

If I had to choose (meaning this is not a house is on fire type of scenario) I'd probably hang onto all my Masterpieces as well as G1 Optimus Prime and the Dinobots. I can live without everything else.

My masterpieces. I was going to say personal customs, but those can be redone probably at a fraction of what they'd sell for.

Getting my hands on the iGear head designed for MP-01/04 would seal the deal for me. I'm trying to score one at a good price. I already spray-painted the rifle black. MP-04 is pretty much the definitive Prime to me, MP-10 be damned.

Of course. This isn't to say that I'm above MP-10. I'd like a copy of that mold regardless of the flavor, but it'll be to supplement my MP-04 - not replace it.

    G1 Optimus

My first Transformer, and complete and in good condition considering how long I've had it.

Generations Warpath: I loved this guy in G1 and his Generations mode is the definitive version. I think it's so nice I'd be comfortable putting it next to the Masterpiece stuff.

Animated Rodimus Minor: My son actually broke this guy when he was two and we were playing with him together. Usually I'm so OCD that broken=circular file, but I actually fixed this guy. He doesn't have all of his out of the box capabilities, but I just can't toss him. He's just such a nice figure in alt mode and bot mode.

Universe Sideswipe: Sideswipe was my first bot back in 1984 (God I'm getting old!). I have a lot of fond memories of him and Universe Sideswipe is a fairly nice toy with strong nostalgia value to me.

Energon Superion Maximus+FP upgrade: It isn't the G1 Aerialbots, or even the RotF recoloring (though I have that too), but it is just a nice version of the toy and one that makes me all kinds of happy.

I'm about a few months away from having an FP Colossus, and I have a feeling he'll make this list when I get him.

    My G1 collection.

I know there's a few hundred, but you did say my 1%.

    :p

Honestly, I would have no clue.
