Ah, so maybe this is a fully battle damaged version like how he looked right after his final fight with Prime in ROTF??

I think I'm going to just unwatch this thread. DF is dead.

They have a bonecrusher repaint that was revealed about a week back, far from dead.

Bonecrusher is like 2 years old. Took them that long for a damn repaint. They are dead to me.

Actually Bonecrusher was released around October to November of last year (literally 1 year ago). He also did get a smokey/weathered repaint a couple months back. I can only assume they took time off because of the whole HasTak suing situation. Hopefully now they're getting back up on their feet

1 year, so if you think a company is dead after no new release only after a year, then you might want to prepare for a lot of disappointment in the third party realm...

Wait it's only been a year? How can I simultaneously think time is passing too quickly yet not quickly enough. What kind of paradox is this. Help me

Capcomkai has answered someone’s questioning of the post and says that it is in-fact the DOTM version and is ready for production now. So maybe DF aren’t dead- just laying very, very still.

Question is, did they finish their prototype, or upsize the SS version, like they did with the RotF one?

That's positive news. I was going to say I wasn't sure if I really had a need for an old Leader scale (MPM scale I guess) DOTM Megatron now that I'm collecting Studio Series. And yet, I type this and look at my Striker Optimus Prime and I feel like I need a Decepticon next to him.

did they even OS it? it seems to be the same exact size....

also given their commitment to making their own Bonecrusher, they are most likely sticking with an original mold.

It’d be such a huge cop out to just OS the SS figure now when they’ve (presumably) been working on this for so long.
I think their ROTF Megs was pretty weak so an upscaled figure was actually an improvement but their DOTM Megs renders and the old proto looked rather impressive. I’ll buy their design because Bonecrusher is awesome. Not touching a bigger SS though.

Having had BMB and the DF versions, I feel like the BMB version was better overall. Kinda wish DF stuck with the modified leader class.

The BMB version doesn't have any ratchets and it's quite big, that's not going to end up well...

It's weird too since comparing something like BMB and WJs Brawls, BMB fails in quality DRASTICALLY.
    In my opinion, anyway
